None of that closes the deal on whether Kerry got a less than honorable discharge. NavyChief says he's got a former Navy Secretary who will drop the dime on Kerry. Navy Chief posts a thread to that effect at the Swift Vets site, and then pulls the thread, and the rug, out from under sites like FR and Powerline after we helped spread the word. Why? What possible freaking sense does that make?

Now Navy Chief is trying to cobble together a cockamamie politicals stunt for the benefit of the very same old media that won't dig into Kerry in the first place. Why? What possible freaking sense does that make?

The whole story hinges on either the former Navy Secretary or some heretofore unreleased document that proves beyond doubt that Kerry's discharge was less than honorable. If Navy Chief doesn't have either of those things then this D.C. stunt is a waste of time. If he's got even one of those things then the D.C. stunt is still a pointless waste of time, because the election is next Tuesday and it's such a blockbuster it will take a few days to get it to sink in to the public. So why wait? Why go to D.C.? What possible freaking sense does that make?
