i suppose in her case it is all for the best that she had a miscarriage. However, as for Cherie Blair's miscarriage, i was fairly appalled at the comments from Freepers on that particular thread. As someone that had 3 miscarriages, i am very sympathetic to that and the people who are casting aspersions on them for her being 47 and pregnant, irked me to no end.

The guy pictured in response # 241 is an old college buddy of mine, Howard. We've known each other since 1969, so these days we communicate primarily via insult. Howard was from Montreal but his folks moved to Miami when he was in junior high or thereabouts. He spent 36 hours in line in 1967 (I think that was the year) and became the VERY FIRST Miami Dolphins season ticket holder, 2 seats 10 rows up on the 50. Of course, being a classy outfit, when the Fish moved to Joe Robbie they moved their first season ticket holder to 25 rows up on the 40, presumably because there were more important people to be taken into consideration. He went to the University of Miami where he played J.V. football until his alleged knee injury. then in 1969 he transferred to McGill in Montreal, where he moved into our dorm. HE'S STILL THE MOST OBNOXIOUS PERSON IN THE WORLD WHEN IT COMES TO MIAMI FOOTBALL TEAMS, so I hate them. He became a lawyer but he was so bad at that he now works self-employed in investments. Married to a pretty blonde French-Canadian, 2 kids. He's Jewish but I wouldn't blame the rest of the Jews for that. Enough data?

Miss Chris, you're very kind. You can see a picture of him in reply # 241 and a brief life story of him in # 282.
I guess you missed it, but Miss Sea was here in Vancouver a week ago Monday after her Alaska cruise, that's when she appalled me by taking that picture. We spent the whole afternoon in a Greek restaurant eating calamari and drinking white wine and had a lovely time.

He does have a beautiful smile that lights up his eyes!
I'm gonna be ill. That smile was just a fluke. You know how some guys undress women with their eyes? Well, Howard's scrutiny was no intense he nearly nuked their clothes into nonexistence!

P.S. You can thank me for the smile picture, he sent that other gruesome mess first, so I sent him an email blasting him and demanding a smiley one. Hence, the smile, such as it is.

You're not going to get an arguement from me.
But as I said, this is not an issue I like to discuss here.

Hi XS, do you know if there is any effort to make that creep's testimony public (ala Newt and Packwood)?
Or is he getting a complete pass?

i really do not know, EOD. maybe hobbes would know as he lives in the state. but considering there is a completely DIFFERENT standard for scandals involving Dems as compared to scandals involving repubs, it would not surprise me in the slightest for there to be no repercussions for him other than what his opponent this Fall will heap on him.

Good For you. It does me well to see that a Male, can (at least in some cases) get equal justice in these matters.... I second that.
I dealt with child support, visitation, and a vindictive woman with my first husband. I FINALLY got him to fight back - he paid through the nose, but in the end won.
I've got no use for the kind of women that will use their children against the men they are ticked off at.

Actually, I don't find handbags exciting. Their only requirement is to be
comfortable enough for me to carry my gun in. After that, it doesn't matter.
:)
LOL !

don't shoot...........
hehehe

Can you imagine the media coverage a Republican would have gotten. The mention of this scandal was negligible at most in our area.
Ain't hypocrisy wonderful!
Take care.
