I believe that the arrainment has not taken place yet.
I hope LE has checked them out, too. Sometimes kinda hard to believe they are on top of this case.
Perhaps you should go back & read the insults other freepers have endured, sandude, with no apologies.
As I've speculated in prior posts, I don't think that's necessarily so, if they're trying to make a possible (as yet unnamed) abductor feel less threatened.
It's stretch for me to think Ricci is involved (I know, I could be wrong), it just doesn't fit his M.O. criminal history.
It DOES fit the M.O. of an awful lot of child snatchers of late and in past years -- a loner type, insecure, not especially random or impromptu.
An alternate, though less firm theory, is that it is someone who perhaps perceived (rightly or wrongly) that Elizabeth was having personal problems and wanted to take her away from those problems.

You are correct. This forum has at times been a real brawl. It has been better lately (Jolly's on vacation) but there is still room for improvement. Jen's main complaint was that you were accusing her of disrupting when she was simply asking you a question. There was nothing confrontational in her remarks, just a desire to have you explain your position. You mistook this as a challenge from her. Is she entitled to make a challenge? Did she call you any slanderous names? Her insights may now be lost to our forum and that is unfortunate. It seems as though any of us who have agreed with Jolly at one time or another are automatically associated with his rudeness. There are times I would like to spank him so to speak but I do agree with some of his ideas on this case. I hope that Jen comes back because we need people who can express themselves without being rude.
Yes weve had this discussion. I maintain that Ricci's lawyer would be raising hell if they were letting his client twist in the wind for no good reason.
His lawyer doesn't seem like much of a hell raiser. He was not exactly a bundle of righteous energy. He's probably looking at no (or at best a nominal) fee, and zero glory in this case.
LE said they have evidence Ricci was involved but not enough to indict him. Any theory that somehow Ricci wasn't involved is purely wishful thinking.
Cheer up. She'll probably be back --- for certain she is lurking. A few posters have signed off in a huff, only to emerge at a later date.
SOURCE PLEASE!
That is correct but he has not been arraigned yet.
Police have made it clear they have evidence Ricci is involved in the kidnapping and they want the guy that picked him up from Moul's garage on Jun 8. They are very anxious to speak with him and probably believe he's the guy that went in the house. Again, I can't imagine they don't know who he is, Ricci has a limited reportoire of partners in crime, maybe he has disappeared?
If his lawyer knew that they didn't have the goods on him he could make plenty of hay off of this. I think that he knows that his client may be involved and doesn't want to look like a fool if LE uncovers something that is damning.
When did police make "it clear" and to whom? When did LE state they "have evidence" implicating Ricci? Or is it just your opinion that it is "clear?"
"It shows a pattern of his conduct. Hes capable of committing thefts. We have someone who broke into the Smart residence in the middle of the night," said Chief Rick Dinse.
While police chief Rick Dinse says these theft charges show a "connectivity" to the Elizabeth Smart case, Ricci has not been charged with her kidnapping.
"If I couldve charged him Id charge him. That doesnt mean I dont have anything linking him to the case, Im not saying that. If I could charge him and prove it today wed file on it today," said Dinse.
