actually , I have been on Free Republic for several years, except under a differant name...which I forget now but I suppose I could look up....got disgusted at some things and left but not for long..

I was here way back in the early Drudge days...the quidam day..the Deep in the Huntgren forest days, and the tsunami days....remember Iowa Hawk....he was great...

I even went to the dinner in Wash. DC several years ago with my dtr and sat with freepers from Virginia....that night. Jim robb and Lucianne actually sat at the same table....lol....that was a great evening...think it was at the HIlton....anyone who went can remember that we got Anne Coutlters first book on our chairs....

so I have been here a long time....there has always been a lot of in fighting but mostly not childish....mostly done on theories and beliefs...not personal vendettas....

My first post on FR was to Don Morgan re: money & the Federal Reserve. Don't recall who said what. Later he got disgusted with something or other & left in a huff. (He & his wife had a newborn, so maybe he needed sleep.) I'll bet he's back under another name.

Ah, the good old days. What a great resource this site was back in those days. It really freaked old Bill and Hillary out that there were people like Drudge and the FreeRepublic that they couldn't manipulate. I got turned on to this site back in the days when Drudge had a link here. I do remember Iowa Hawk, Clintons a liar, and others.
