Good morning, palo! Last night I reached the end of the thread just after you'd gone, and it just happened again. Darn! Maybe I'll catch you later today. It's cooler here with no clouds. I think the 4th will be glorious for boaters, picnickers and hikers.

72 pound Lulu chased Mo to top of that wall where 7 huge bloodhounds live on other side
so she is back lyin' flat froggie in hallway

Udall Pool doesn't have view of mountains, but has palm trees around it and looks like country club pool

Good morning Palo honey.. I've been staying in the house, but I had to go out and deadhead the flowers and while I was dying of the heat I figured I'd take a few pics..

Omg is it hot and steamy outside. I'm glad I'm not going to the party at my son Gary's house. Not for this Mamma/Grannie. I might go out and sightsee a little, and find somewhere interesting to eat, but I'll stay cool, and pool...tomorrow.

my friend jan said her hubby harry went back to nyc to go to friend's wedding and see his parents
since harry drove back east
his dad said he'd drive back to Tucson with harry
spend some time here
and then fly back
Harry's dad has never been out west
they left for their road trip out west yesterday
but harry cannot spend 10 minutes alone with his dad without going wickywacky
so Jan is very excited to hear the nightly phone calls from harry bout the trip
lol I dreamt last night harry said, this is it I can't take it, trip is over now!

That sounds like a torture test, being locked into a small metal enclosure together for all those miles!!! Poor Harry could be PERMANENTLY wicky-wacky by the time they get to Tucson!

I was such passionate patriot 2 years ago on Lcom on july 4th
now I am dropout

trip will be twice as long too, cause harry decided to take his dad sightseeing
they will go to mesa verde in CO
and up to Grand Canyon
then harry's dad plans to spend 5 days in the apt with jan and harry before he flies back east

our luxury resorts which are usually $400/night
hollywood movie stars come to them
are now only $50/night cause no one wants to come to the inferno
bill suggested harry's dad stay in one of them
but harry's dad who is millionaire, doesnt want to waste money on hotels

yes, it is still raining here. i love it.

i just heard some tragic news. one of my cousins committed suicide.

he was the eldest of four children of my father's brother. he was married and the father of a toddler daughter. i know nothing more. he was always a happy-go-lucky young man, so as far as i know, this is completely shocking.

Sometimes I think that we get older, the news just
gets worse and worse. My real estate partner called
me yesterday from his hospital bed, fully expecting
to get cracked open for a valve job today. He's 54.
