yes, it is still raining here. i love it.

i just heard some tragic news. one of my cousins committed suicide.

he was the eldest of four children of my father's brother. he was married and the father of a toddler daughter. i know nothing more. he was always a happy-go-lucky young man, so as far as i know, this is completely shocking.

Sometimes I think that we get older, the news just
gets worse and worse. My real estate partner called
me yesterday from his hospital bed, fully expecting
to get cracked open for a valve job today. He's 54.
