I grocery shopped too on way home from pool
but did small shopping
two family size (72) individually wrapped krafts for Lulu
24 cans of dog food for Happy (he only likes one brand)
they are small cans, he likes to lick them out like ice cream cone
chopped meat, hamburger rolls, onions, tomatoes
frozen oj
half and half
big bag of donuts
and two 12 packs of coca cola
I forgot potato chips

I'm fading fast ; too much steak, salad and wine for me tonight, but well worth it.It's been a perfect night here by the lake and hot and humid.So, I'll see you tomorrow.I sure got a kick out of reading your post on TOS, so thanks to AC for giving us that link :-)

Ah, Palo, you forgot some of the important stuff...potato chips, and ice cream are a must...especially the ice cream in your hot weather...I expect, I would have ice cream every day, if it was hot here...As it is, we are not big ice cream eaters here....

Altho, when my son was living here, we always had to have ice cream on hand for him...he eats it every night...

Now I have a taste for ice cream, and none in the house...Maybe we will get some for the 4th...my favorite ice cream is just plain vanilla, but with lots of chocolate syrup, or hot fudge topping, and a few marashino cherries thrown in...Yummy...

But Palo, you did get the very most important stuff...Kraft Singles, for Princess Lulu , and cans of doggie food for her brother, Prince Happy...Doggies must be kept happy...

I know when I went to the store today, I did not need to get Dizzy any of his regular food, as I just bought a big container of it last time....but he was out of his Snacks that he likes to have handfed to him...so I always pick up about 6 bags of those, when I go to the store...he loves them, and often pigs out on his treats...

I always have to make a list when I go to the store...even just for small shopping..I may have a good memory, for family events, and such, but I know if I did not take a shopping list, I would forget to get items I needed...

So maybe you should start making a shopping list...it works for me, avoids my forgetting any items I need...

I got a great deal on Coke today at Albertsons...I really hate to buy pop unless its on sale...but dont like Pepsi, so always try to stock up on Coke when its on sale...Today at Albertsons, the sale price was three 12packs for $10, but if you had a coupon from their flyer, then it was five 12packs for $10....so I got four regular coke, and then they had the new Vanilla Coke...I have not tried it out yet, so thought since it was so cheap, I would give it a try, and see how it is...so have some Vanilla Coke in the fridge, and will try it later on this evening...

Has anyone here, tried the new Vanilla Coke yet?

they were archived back to 11/00. strange, there were a lot of missing ones though-- ones that i remember writing. i don't know how that happened.

I see a notice, saying that FR will be down between 1-3am...wonder what new doodad they are fixing to spring on us...sure hope whatever they do, FR comes up all well and good...going through FR withdrawal, is an ugly thing...

I did not see it in diet, just regular..but it may be, that I just did not notice it...

I bought two 12 packs
I didn't see vanilla coke
that used to be a favorite of mine as a kid

yes I have taste for vanilla ice cream
when I ran out of half and half I used it for my coffee
then I had some in a dish, it was yummy
I noticed how hot weather and ice cream really go together

You know what else is great in hot weather...a Black Cow, you know vanilla ice cream in a big glass, and then root beer poured over it...I am not a big fan of root beer, but do enjoy it poured over vanilla ice cream...and on a hot day, a Black Cow, just seems to melt the heat away...

Another way I like ice cream is, put some scoops of ice cream in a tall glass, and just pour milk over it, to the top...My uncle Guido, always had his ice cream that way, and its good for a change of pace...

Miss Lulu is a happy gal...shes taking in the cooler air now...and she knows, you bought her, those tasty Kraft Singles...she knows she is in a good home, where she is catered to...God love her, she is such a sweetie...
