I grocery shopped too on way home from pool
but did small shopping
two family size (72) individually wrapped krafts for Lulu
24 cans of dog food for Happy (he only likes one brand)
they are small cans, he likes to lick them out like ice cream cone
chopped meat, hamburger rolls, onions, tomatoes
frozen oj
half and half
big bag of donuts
and two 12 packs of coca cola
I forgot potato chips

Ah, Palo, you forgot some of the important stuff...potato chips, and ice cream are a must...especially the ice cream in your hot weather...I expect, I would have ice cream every day, if it was hot here...As it is, we are not big ice cream eaters here....

Altho, when my son was living here, we always had to have ice cream on hand for him...he eats it every night...

Now I have a taste for ice cream, and none in the house...Maybe we will get some for the 4th...my favorite ice cream is just plain vanilla, but with lots of chocolate syrup, or hot fudge topping, and a few marashino cherries thrown in...Yummy...

But Palo, you did get the very most important stuff...Kraft Singles, for Princess Lulu , and cans of doggie food for her brother, Prince Happy...Doggies must be kept happy...

I know when I went to the store today, I did not need to get Dizzy any of his regular food, as I just bought a big container of it last time....but he was out of his Snacks that he likes to have handfed to him...so I always pick up about 6 bags of those, when I go to the store...he loves them, and often pigs out on his treats...

I always have to make a list when I go to the store...even just for small shopping..I may have a good memory, for family events, and such, but I know if I did not take a shopping list, I would forget to get items I needed...

So maybe you should start making a shopping list...it works for me, avoids my forgetting any items I need...

I got a great deal on Coke today at Albertsons...I really hate to buy pop unless its on sale...but dont like Pepsi, so always try to stock up on Coke when its on sale...Today at Albertsons, the sale price was three 12packs for $10, but if you had a coupon from their flyer, then it was five 12packs for $10....so I got four regular coke, and then they had the new Vanilla Coke...I have not tried it out yet, so thought since it was so cheap, I would give it a try, and see how it is...so have some Vanilla Coke in the fridge, and will try it later on this evening...

Has anyone here, tried the new Vanilla Coke yet?
