Habs old fellow, I know you have the best interests of the good Gran at heart. The difficulty at the moment is buying shoes which will be comfortable due to the odd conformity of her feet. Additionally, you know how ugly orthopedic shoes are not to mention the price. Therefore, I am keeping her close by so she has not need of shoes and in her condition I am told it helps with the balance to go barefoot.

In short, good habs, do not encourage her in her foolish wants 'tis better she were encouraged in her devotions.

I don't know anything about this Annie.. I'm relying on Habs memory here.. But, I figured if I was going to get any shoes of out that skinflint, I might cut my own throat by settling on Paris, Texas.. Believe you me.. I'd rather hit Texas than France, any day.. ( I wonder if he can do the two-step?)

Knowing that old geezer, he'll probably buy me brown oxfords with laces.. The kind my Ma used to wear... jeeze..

lol marriage is not quite the same thing as sleeping around
when I slept around, they made the scrambled eggs

their lovemaking was unmemorable
but I remember some tasty breakfasts

but I married young
so my scrambled eggs days came to an abrupt halt
sleeping aound did not suit me
cause I like having someone to love
but maybe it is nice to have some intimacy while you are waiting to find someone to love
and I guess I learned something from every guy I dated

brown oxfords with laces is sore topic for me
my mom made me wear them
it was huge fight

she won
the best I was able to get was red oxfords with laces instead of brown
and mary janes for parties
but I had to wear the ugly oxfords to school

luckily saddle shoes came into style when I was in junior high
and I was allowed to wear those
she even let me wear penny loafers
I guess the fighting wore her out
lol in high school I wore cordoroy sneakers like everyone else (in olive, and in black)
