But, I figured if I was going to get any shoes of out that skinflint, I might cut my own throat by settling on Paris, Texas.. Believe you me.. I'd rather hit Texas than France, any day.. brown oxfords with laces is sore topic for me
my mom made me wear them
it was huge fight

she won
the best I was able to get was red oxfords with laces instead of brown
and mary janes for parties
but I had to wear the ugly oxfords to school

luckily saddle shoes came into style when I was in junior high
and I was allowed to wear those
she even let me wear penny loafers
I guess the fighting wore her out
lol in high school I wore cordoroy sneakers like everyone else (in olive, and in black)
