We just tested the cake.. It is delish.. First time I made this recipe.. If you want it, let me know.. It's easy for a carrot cake.. Jude likes easy at her age..;) I will catch up on your mail tomorrow, when I can devote my heart and soul to it.. Right now, this old lady is taard... I neeeeed my bed... Been up since three without a nap.. smoochies until tomorrow..

Westy, was it really that hot today? I know it was terribly hot, I was roasting...I do not like it that hot...anything above 70 and I dont like it....thank goodness by the weekend it is suppose to cool down some...

Thanks for the Lulu report...I am still smiling about Lulu being a heroine, and rescuing, the wandering dog...shes a great gal, that Lulu is....

The way you describe her is just perfect, I have her image in my mind...

I should go to sleep myself...I am all worn out from all that heat today, but now, its dark, and cool, and a breeze is coming into the house, and cooling things down, thank goodness...

Sleep tight, and see all tomorrow...

Westy, I sure hope that was the first and last day, of that type of heat we are going to see this summer...

Often, when my husband was still in the reserves, they would go to Yakima, for the weekend, in the middle of the summer...he would come back, sunburned, and really crabby...That Yakima is a stinking hot place...

It was 108° at Tahoma Senior High School in Kent. that is the closess real time read out to me. Not that warm in Seattle and Renton..They were in the 90s and set records...
