June 21st marks our one year anniversary at FR
that move came from spirit too
spirit suggested I email Lucianne and tell her I would not be back on Lcom for 3 weeks cause I wanted to check out FR
then I emailed chrissie and Kathleen I was movin' to FR
we spent the morning and afternoon on email together
and at 4 pm we jumped to FR
Kathleen was the one who jumpstarted it tho
because few days before she put ideas in my head, that I had never thought before
rofl spirit just built on what Kathleen started
Chrissie did all the leg work for the exodus tho
Love, Palo

chickie arrived two weeks later
we didn't have email for her so hadn't told her
when she arrived she pretended to be senile
so 14 helpful FReepers helped get her started on FR
she is a baaaad chickita

I am trying to maintain my happiness for another few days...then the hubby returns, and I have to return to my former schedule of actually being productive, and having to cook full meals, and being the good wife...this time without my hubby around, has been quite fun...tho, I should admit, I will be glad to see him when he returns...

Its so great not having to cook all the time from scratch..I have been existing mainly on TV dinners, deli from the supermarket, or call out for pizza...its so great, to be this lazy, once in a while...But I am already planning my meals for when the hubby returns...

The first catch of the year, of Copper River Salmon, was in the store, on sale, yesterday...So I bought a huge Copper River Salmon filet, and will have it prepared for the hubby when he returns on Friday evening...his flight only has a snack listed, and by the time he gets his luggage, catches the airporter home, it will be another few hours...

So I know he will be hungry when he gets home, and he absolutely loves salmon, and this Copper River Salmon, is just delicious...it tastes a little different from the regular salmon we get here, which is also delicious, but the Copper River Salmon is just different...so I will make that, and a great big salad, and some wild rice and french bread, and have lots of cold beer on hand...

That should make the hubby happy....

Bill said at the other pool, the men hang their stuff high up on the rafters where the kiddies can't reach up to it
(men are so ingenious)
I take all my stuff to lifeguard stand tho
and keep eye on it while I swim

hehehe - good to know I not the only pitiful one when the spouse is gone. I went into almost total shutdown mode, except for freeping and tending the pets.

One huge grocery haul after taking Pam to the airport: the shrimp, the pre-cooked potroast and tenderloin, and then it was on smooth cruise control till the end.

It started to suck after 2 and a half days. ;-)

Well, the men are generally taller, and can reach up higher than most women...some of these young boys, are almost as tall as the women are...so the men have the advantage for a while anyway, over the silly boys...

This is kind of like the Planet of the Apes movie, where the astronauts took off all their clothing, and went swimming, butt naked....then the other humans stole their clothing...when the gorillas started charging the humans, the astronauts had to run through the fields naked...
