The other day I was asked if I knew the link to a particular thread, and it made me think that there are more than a few "places" FReepers have asked about and can't find anymore.

The Veteran's Day link that was on the original Canteen thread which is not being posted anymore is one of them. I thought it might be a nice thing to have a thread with just links to a few favorite spots. Here, then, is a thread with some interesting links....all in one place. Just click on any graphic, and you're there. :)

Blackie, I have NEVER set goals - never! I wouldn't carry them out if I did. I take things as they come - whatever's going to happen, is going to happen. When I wake in the morning, I'm cheerful, but I can just as easily become sad or grouchy with one word or one incident! That's me. A take-me-or-leave-me-cause-it's-the-way-I-am kind of person. :)

Billie, you and many others do a great job on the canteen. I was wondering if you might be interested in a webpage to do a 'week in review?' I wish I had the time to do it, but if you or anyone you appoint is game, I will post anything you send me and try to make it look the way you choose, and archive the past presentations. Think about it, and talk it over, and let me know what you think.

Not at the moment, but he used to race them - dirt bikes. He's been 'underneath' them a few times, with other riders flying over the top of him! No major injuries though - nothing worse than a few scrapes and bruises. :)
