This famous evidence of the creature known as Bigfoot was shot by a man named Roger Patterson in Northern California on Oct. 20, 1967. The footage lasts just 59 seconds. We don’t get to spend much time gawking at the creature (it’s only a tantalizing glimpse), but he’s there just long enough for us to notice several things. The hair on his back looks a bit shiny. And is it our imagination, or is this primitive creature not just walking but strolling, with a rather jaunty sense of purpose?
Why did this footage possess the world? I don’t know what Bigfoot actually ‘is’; but I believe people have seen something.
Bigfoot makes a lot more sense to me than extraterrestrials visiting us in little spaceships; and yet we have politicians and government officials spending a lot of time entertaining stories of the latter.

There are perhaps less than 200 Florida panthers in existence. However, over the last 50 years, more than 450 have been killed by automobiles.
I’m assuming that Bigfoot is better at avoiding cars than is a Florida panther. However, if Bigfoot exists, we should have had a body by now.
