To be fair, there are multiple charges under consideration here and there can be a lot of disagreement in a jury room about 1st degree murder vs. 2nd degree murder vs. manslaughter counts.

For one moment on a Fox News show it came over me that the three males there and other males at home and myself were protective over the children, but the large contingent at home of females who were brought up on self-serving feminism want the Clancy defendant to get away with it.

It is the new OJ abomination. With OJ the black jurors demanded any black man get exonerated despite being guilty of murder to make up for past injustices such as the first black suspect at a crime scene being unfairly convicted as in To Kill A Mockingbird.
Now a feminist raised contingent of women figure sticking up for any guilty woman is fair after the jobs denied to qualified women in the past and so on due to male sexism back then.

The jury is hung. A successful defense motion to boot a juror who is holding out for a conviction brings quite a change to the pretense-of-law in this case.
We have a completely different system if the only definition of a "fair trial" is one in which the defendant is acquitted.
Past time to declare a mistrial and move on. That would be a new trial, an accepted plea bargain, or a dismissal.
None of those are good alternatives. They are better than what is happening now.
The Health care industry is also been in the forefront. Treatment of women with post partum depression is an issue. None of these jurors are mental health care professionals.

I thought for years that my alcoholic, mentally ill, narcissistic mother’s forcing my father into divorce when I was in 3rd grade and then saying to me “You’re just like your father” meaning worthless, was an oddity.
