What has happened to FR? People are advocating for President Trump's removal, making sarcastic remarks, Saying the TRump era is over. President Trump has righted the economy, ended Iran's nuclear weapons threat and is the greatest President since Reagan. He deserves better than this. He already has the RINOS in Congress against him, he needs his base fired up and ready to vote! THe RATS are highly motivated to steal this election. Have some courage and get behind out President!

Trump *IS* the best President since George Washington. He has dealt with numerous serious matters expeditiously and he has been dealing with them in proportion to their degree of dangerousness to our country.
Reagan did one great thing. He brought down the Soviet Union. Trump has done a half dozen great things, not the least of which is change the direction of the nation for the better, and against stronger headwinds than Reagan ever faced.

I don’t think it’s an either/or thing. Back in June of 2025, Trump struck Iran’s nuclear facilities (Operation Midnight Hammer).
That was a brilliant operation. It had clear and achievable objectives, and set Iran’s nuclear program back many years.
But I’m very unclear about what’s happening now. Trump wants Iran to give up all its nuclear material. That’s a noble goal! But I can’t see how it’s achievable. Fanatics simply are not swaying by a bombing campaigns.
If I’m unclear about what’s going on, so will be many swing voters.
Well nothing is wrong now. The Keyword Klowns have shown up. So Free Republic still maints a full mature, adult and stable status as a serious thought provoking and conservative website.

There is a lot of downside to wiping out everything in Iran, not the least of which is the effect it will have on our own fuel prices as Europe is now forced to buy from us.
We might turn the entire world against us. We might be able to whip them all, but I sure don't want to find out.

Not only that but Reagan still had a formidable Soviet Union to deal with. Reagan held firm for freedom and the USSR collapsed from within.
Trump also had to heal America from the ravages of the 0bama and Biden regimes; nevertheless, he understood I-ran had to be bested - now, not later.

Yes, convenient memory loss is selective. How do we know what trumps plan is with the Iranian situation, we don’t and he sure as hell isn’t going to tell anyone. But be assured, it will be in the best interest of this country and will be a winner.
I believe the surge in Islamic and Muslim popularity in the U.S. is at a dangerous turning point and has something to do with the Iran War. Has everyone forgotten what one of Trumps first moves was in his first term? He did an executive order stopping entry of non citizens from Islamic countries for a ninety day moratorium. Well that was quickly shut down by the Supreme Court and created mass hysteria in the Democrat party. Trump is well aware of the dangers and he is the only one we have to rescue this country. There are far more imperative issue right now than the price of gas. Lest we forget the tremendous cost of Joe Biden and his war against America. It cost us four years of inflation, four years of illegals invasion. Liberal judges have blocked him in every decision he has made for the good of the American people.
