What has happened to FR? People are advocating for President Trump's removal, making sarcastic remarks, Saying the TRump era is over. President Trump has righted the economy, ended Iran's nuclear weapons threat and is the greatest President since Reagan. He deserves better than this. He already has the RINOS in Congress against him, he needs his base fired up and ready to vote! THe RATS are highly motivated to steal this election. Have some courage and get behind out President!

>>”I agree with you 100%. I think we have a lot of people affiliated with Mike Pence’s parroted Advancing American Freedom Foundation on here.”

No question about it. Know how you can tell? They never bring up Trump’s undeniable accomplishments to at least give a token effort at fairness. They’ll focus on the momentary elevation in the price of gas and ignore the closed border, the deportations, the efforts at reversing birthright citizenship and stopping birth tourism. Those issues alone put Trump in the highest echelons of Presidents. And there are so many more, like ending Roe v Wade and DEI, bringing manufacturing back home, unleashing domestic energy production, and almost single handedly transforming the GOP from a weak minority party into the dominant party for the next generation.

We’re talking about Republic saving reforms from President Trump, and that apparently means nothing to them in comparison to high gas prices (which are nevertheless lower than during much of Biden’s Presidency), Epstein, “Israel”, and other comparatively minor or non-existent issues, which they attempt to elevate to issues of the most vital national importance. If a few months of $4 gas matters more to you than securing our border, then American strength an sovereignty don’t matter to you.

Those of us who defend President Trump don’t do so because we claim he’s perfect. We do so because we judge his presidency in its totality, not based solely on the negatives. And on that basis, he’s already earned a spot in the top 2 or 3 presidencies in American history.

He has bungled the War,BUT: 3 million deportations, flat inflation, no recession, and Gas is declining. Now bellow 4.00 Dollars in Suburban Philly.

Why do you say he has bungled the war? Sure, we could have had less insane Iranian leadership, but the way he has conducted it is about as good as could have possibly been done, so I don't think he has "bungled" it at all.

He doesn't want to destroy the Iranian infrastructure. I don't blame him. It would cause devastating repercussions world wide, and especially for the Iranian people.

Q: What to Democrat Socialists and Free Republic TDSers have in common?

A: Both run on their emotions, frequently hate - and have little self-control, where they out themselves repeatedly with screeds that can border on childish tantrums, postings memes and silly slogans to one another.

For those with reservations on some aspects of the Trump administration policy, I, too, at times share some of those minor reservations - not in substance but in form.

But consider, the presidential job of righting the wrongs prosecuted by a diverse group of Democrats, their pocket media & corps of lawyers, internet faux hysteria and enemies both foreign and domestic is well nigh impossible.

Trump is fighting the nearly insurmountable as best he can. Reagan likewise fought hard and well but the nation is facing far more headwinds now than in Reagan’s day.

Excellent post. Iran’s strategy is us elections. It’s always worked in the past, and if conservatives go soft in the belly it will work again.

Some people that no longer support Trump are attacking anyone that still does. I guess they feel like if they can crack that whip hard enough we’ll turn on him too.

“”Now, start thinking about what must replace it? Most likely a dedicated Reddit group, if there isn’t one already. Free - no costs.””

***

No... not a Reddit group. A patriot. Somebody that’s a real, bonafide patriot along the lines of Jim Robinson, with either deep pockets themselves or someone that has wealthy funders... should purchase the forum and renovate the system and migrate all of the accounts to a new format.

It’s that important that this forum continues on.... and this future planning should already be in progress.

Instead of FR ‘going away’... imagine new owners of a new Free Republic forum run by the likes of someone like James O’Keefe, Nick Shirley, Erica Kirk or hell, maybe even CatTurd...lol. Somebody maybe even not on the radar, but a solid Conservative warrior.

Would love to see a new thread kicking this idea around re: the future reality of that “Nothng last forever.”.

My feelings as well. He's done a lot of great things. But he HAS bungled Iran.

How could it have been done any better? If you think it was "bungled", explain what you would have done differently and why.

Our conversation here is rather unusual in that I agree with most of what you said. Trump does have a huge ego problem. I wish he were more like Ronald Reagan. I have mentioned that here on FR previously.

But by golly, I’m no fan of any post that seems to focus more on me than on my positions. For example, you asked me to personally admit to something.

That’s a rather odd thing to demand.

Anyway, we are both pretty much on the same page. Perhaps it’s best to leave it at that.

And he is, by far, the most highly accomplished man we have ever had as president.

- - - - - - -

The US had Presidents that closed central banks. Had Trump done that, I would consider him a good President.

I hope I’m wrong, but that’s the way I’d bet. The party in power traditionally gets a bloody nose in the midterms. Plus now you’ve got this Iran mess. Plus the gas prices. Plus the mainstream propaganda.

If you have to choose between a million dead New Yorkers, or losing the midterms, which would you choose?

This is not a hard question for me, and I don't like New Yorkers. (Or Washington DC residents either.)

Unfortunately this is true. The nation is in a state of financial and cultural collapse, all in slow motion. The president is easily distracted by Israeli intelligence that benefits only Israel.

The information we have is Iran has enough enriched Uranium to make 11 nuclear bombs. How many do you think they can use on Israel?

What do you think these religious fanatics will do with the other 10?

People don’t understand that the war Trump is engaged in is against Islam and Allah, i.e.,the Devil. As Saint Michael said to Lucifer’s effort to gain control - the Lord rebuke you. This battle is far more complex and broader in scope than Iran. Right now the world is being devoured by Allah’s influence, treacherousness, and deceptive ways. It is ordained, as it was with Saint Michael’s battle against the Devil and his henchmen that he will only be defeated in a knockdown, dragged out, kinetic engagement.
