A family of seven who tucked into an expensive feast brazenly left an Orlando restaurant without paying, it has been claimed.
The group were caught on surveillance footage consuming a spread worth $300 before leaving @ The Diner, apparently without settling their hefty tab on Sunday.
The Florida restaurant is now seeking to identify the alleged dine-and-dashers, who are said to have taken off during its busiest shift of the day.
It wrote on Instagram that the family ordered multiple dishes and appeared to enjoy a leisurely meal before carrying out their premeditated escape in stages.
The restaurant, which shared footage of the incident, alleged that staff only realized what had happened after the group had already left the premises, leaving servers scrambling to work out what had gone wrong.
In the clip, a man wearing a white vest is seen leading the group’s exit, handing another woman in the group car keys as she slips away before pulling up in the getaway car outside.
Moments later, he quickly follows behind with a young boy in tow.
The clip shows the rest of the group remaining at the table, eagerly helping themselves to the extensive spread before another woman and a young girl make their move towards the exit.

Even if they had paid, they wouldn’t have left a tip.
Restaurant asked for it by not having a ‘No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service’ policy.
Regrettably, it is not ... low-life trash comes in many colors.
However ...
One color IS represented out of proportion to its fraction of the general population. I'm told that in the industry they're called "Canadians" ... but they don't come from the frozen north.
As others have mentioned, the story is published in the Daily Mail. A UK based service. In Brit speak an undershirt is a “vest”.

I’ll bet they get extra business (the paying kind!) from the article. Remember, there’s no such thing as bad publicity - just spell the name right! Think about it - 300 bucks for a full page, lengthy write-up (sympathetic) in an international publication - an amazing value!

...but it was a family of four that sat across from me at a family-owned pizza restaurant. The same waiter was serving my table and theirs.
When they finished, they started to get up to leave. The waiter quickly handed over the bill.
The father said, “We don’t have the money” and walked out.
The waiter looked to the owner-operator for advice but only got a shrug.
This was a first-time for me and was very disappointed the sheriff wasn’t called. (Everywhere there are tourists in the middle of the Florida Keys, with only one highway between each key).

Perhaps where you live. I worked at one in Tennessee that kept consistently high ratings and a 96 score or above on health inspections. The place always stayed full from repeat customers.
It is amusing that this occurred in Orlando, as Florida is the chain's home state (and it never had any connection to Australia whatsoever).
