A family of seven who tucked into an expensive feast brazenly left an Orlando restaurant without paying, it has been claimed.
The group were caught on surveillance footage consuming a spread worth $300 before leaving @ The Diner, apparently without settling their hefty tab on Sunday.
The Florida restaurant is now seeking to identify the alleged dine-and-dashers, who are said to have taken off during its busiest shift of the day.
It wrote on Instagram that the family ordered multiple dishes and appeared to enjoy a leisurely meal before carrying out their premeditated escape in stages.
The restaurant, which shared footage of the incident, alleged that staff only realized what had happened after the group had already left the premises, leaving servers scrambling to work out what had gone wrong.
In the clip, a man wearing a white vest is seen leading the group’s exit, handing another woman in the group car keys as she slips away before pulling up in the getaway car outside.
Moments later, he quickly follows behind with a young boy in tow.
The clip shows the rest of the group remaining at the table, eagerly helping themselves to the extensive spread before another woman and a young girl make their move towards the exit.

My niece, a kind gentle soul, worked as a waitress while going to college over twenty years ago. After dealing with the no tipping demographic, it opened her eyes to how things worked in the real world.
That was fast. Still an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Take payments in advance.
I have a friend who just the other day was saying she had stopped going to an Outback restaurant that was near her work. She said every night there was at least one table complaining loudly and claiming the food was bad and they didn’t want to pay.
ALERT!!! This transaction is being A/V recorded. This is why...
I saw a vid earlier, a woman had been trespassed for rejecting the billing on her visa card for 4 previous visits. She had attempted to come back and was caught. They told her in no uncertain words GTFO! A short video sent to a Visa rep would have gone a long way for the restaurant. Record everything.
I have come to the conclusion that these 98% are the only ones that have any hope of solving/curing/fixing the 2%
It’s not all of them, but it’s always them.
At least 3 smartphones and the late-model car all pinged the restaurant’s wifi. Timestamps, plus a little this Fing and that Fing, a dash of Flock, easy peasy. If they were stupid enough to log into The Diner’s free wifi, they could be arrested tonight.

There’s many fine black people and I have black friends myself but your 98% figure is way off. I’d estimate a good 1/3 of them are nothing but trouble.
Not only that, but you don’t hear the “poor 98%,” or whatever percent it really is, condemning this behavior. On threads like this, there’s always someone who pipes up to express sympathy for “the good ones.” When the good ones start speaking up to condemn this behavior, maybe I’ll feel sorry for them.
It’s been quite a while since gas stations switched policies on this but yeah I can see that coming.
