Hopefully the Chevette museum was untouched.
If it’s not sinkholes, it’s tornados.

Agreed.
Stud like that is more along the lines of what we here in Tornado Alley (Okla.) experience. Doesn’t seem normal at all for it to happen in IL
It’s an Effing tragedy.
That area is getting pounded by storms again today.
Why put irreplaceable artifacts in anything less than an indestructible building?
So, even God hates Corvettes now.

Corvette Museum Sinkhole reporting
They may call that onr in Illinois a museum, but it sounded to me that it was a corvette & Vw parts plant, with some corvettes in it. Still a shame though.
BiXiden’s fault.
It is probably the museum tied in with Mid-America Corvette.
At least it wasn’t the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY - I pass it when traveling to see relatives in Ohio...never have stopped in tough - my memories of the Vettes on the streets in the 60s and 70s are enough.
My favorite was the ‘66 coupe with the 427 CI/425 HP mill....The maroon color, with the removable hardtop panels was my favorite
Did The Effingham Cross survive?! 😮
I should sadly add that the tornado NE of Mt. Vernon, IL was worse: It was an EF-3 that killed two elderly gals in separate locations, and injured 5 more people. :-(
