Well, the official Corvette Museum is in Bolling Green Ky. which did experience a sinkhole aboput 40 feet wide and 30 feet deep when a cave's roof collapsed in 2014 that swallowed up 8 corvettes.

They may call that onr in Illinois a museum, but it sounded to me that it was a corvette & Vw parts plant, with some corvettes in it. Still a shame though.
