The U.S. military will attack Iran “VERY HARD TONIGHT,” and will soon take over the country’s “oil infrastructure points,” President Donald Trump said Thursday.
An operation to “assume total control” of Iran’s oil and gas markets and infrastructure, including taking Kharg Island, will occur “at some point in the not too distant future,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

That’s a good point. But it assumes that the mullahs are rational. They are not. Job #1 for them is kill the infidel. Worry about building the island back up later.

Trump is doing exactly what he should be doing with feints, misdirection, intimidation by both threats & kinetic strikes, a financial and a physical blockage. Sowing confusion, hardship, fear & disorder weaken the enemy as does scarcity of $ and supplies. These are age old siege techniques because they are effective.

Why doesn’t he just telegraph the place and the hour of our actions so the Insanians can be all set-up for our people and watch for them not even needing radar.
There was a time when people understood that lose lips sink ships but not Trump. He has become even belligerent to any questioning of his actions. That comment yesterday about not caring about inflation was lashing out because he is mad about complaints about oil prices.
In my opinion Trump is losing control of his emotions.

Which is why we can't put our ships in the Gulf (with the exception of heavily-defended destroyers on brief flag-waving tours); Iran has demonstrated that they can reach out and touch all of our military assets in there.
