How could this have happened? Boarding passes are scanned and confirmed before one is allowed to proceed through TSA and the individual gate.

The number of times that this article uses the word “allegedly“ or “ attempted” is ridiculous. I do not understand why it needs to be used for an action that is observed and on videotape. I hardly recall the word allegedly being used for any of the dishonest accusations against President Trump

I’m thinking that pass would not pass a scan. Probably slipped into the line and some discrepancy in seating was discovered once the doors were closed.
