Opening day at Six Flags St. Louis ended early on Saturday with police on the scene. They were called after multiple brawls involving as many as 100 people, most of whom were juveniles, broke out at the park.
This particular amusement park is one of seven properties that were recently sold by the main Six Flags company to a new owner, Enchanted Parks. There was apparently a need to set the tone early with the new ownership.
Park guests weren’t going to be waiting around until the blistering heat of the middle of the summer, with scooters everywhere you turn clogging up walkways, to let tensions erupt. This was going down on day one of the new season, in the spring, to get those expectations in the books.
Eureka Police Chief Michael Werges told First Alert 4 that officers responded to the scene quickly and were able to disperse the crowd before the chaos went any further. About a half a dozen or so juveniles were detained as a result of the fighting.
But, according to Chief Werges, there were no injuries reported and, thankfully, no damage done to the amusement park. Could you imagine a world where the park had to be shut down for repairs due to damage from an out-of-control 100-person fight on opening day?
That would be un-American. We have to have the freedom to overpay for entrance into an amusement park to then stand in long lines, sweat our asses off and eat garbage while dodging an unbelievable number of overweight people on scooters.

“Teenagers”. We all know what that means.
More than half of all murders in America are committed by blacks, according to the FBI.
It’s time for the Supreme Court to recognize that we have a right to freedom of association that’s protected by the First Amendment and which has been nullified by the Civil Rights Act.
And judge accordingly.
I’ll take the kids to an Amusement Park in New Hampshire...the place is in northern New Hampshire...not many blacks would be there... 😀
This.
Invest in an ID scanner at the gate. Ban entry to previous offenders, for life. Anyone below 16, must have an adult. Ban that adult, if the kid effs up. Get enough of them, they’ll quit coming in packs as too many of their precious homies are denied.
FOA was protected by the original, unamended Constitution, 3 years before the first amendment.
Have we ever run into this at water parks?
I always think it’s odd the way this is discussed.
The media will identify them as teens or young people. The media will never disclose the ethnicity of the people involved.
The media may talk about groups of people, getting into some sort of altercation. But the media will never mention that often these are rival youth gangs who are involved in a violent altercation.
We used to see this with malls quite often in the past. A new mall opened up, and a handful of “groups” decided they owned the territory. Sometimes, it would take a while for it to occur, so locals had a period of time where the mall worked for them. Eventually, the mall became a no-go location for anyone with a family or just wanting to protect themselves.
If its like 6 Flags in Atlanta its diversity.
How do you see a FOA update playing out in everyday life?
I question whether it is even gangs at all. I think it's just large groups of people with virtually no impulse control, and no basic sense of civility, manners, etc.
Yeah, these melees aren’t usually gang fights. It’s an amusement park and this is how they amuse themselves.
When you let in 20 million or so illegals they were not coming from Europe. Plus the ones that are already here which they always say around 10 to 20 million. My best guess is around 15 to 20% plus of the total population are illegals.
My son took his daughter out of KISD and put her in a private school. At one time KISD was a selling point for real estate.
Same with Denver.
That might be because when you and the other whites shop you are using your money so have to budget what you spend.
But the illegals and Gibs-Me-Dats are also using your money so they don't care what they spend.
Six Flags America near Washington, DC shut down. There was talk that an unstated reason for the closure was because of the troubled clientele at that park. ,
