US President Donald Trump on Sunday, April 12 harshly criticized Pope Leo XIV over the US-born pontiff’s remarks on Washington’s war in Iran before posting an AI-generated image portraying himself as Jesus performing a miracle reminiscent of biblical imagery.

You’ll end up with both sides (as well as cooler heads) replying to you:
Those with Trump Devotion Syndrome.
Amd also those with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
MAGA/America First don’t want to see these kinds of posts from Trump.
Instead, they want what I outlined in post #8.
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me”
Go to Trump’s Truth Social, he posted it there.
The piety pearl clutching runs deep on this thread. Get over yourselves.
Geez crucify him already for posting a silly meme.
Crucify him!
Blasphemous, are is the Left and its opposition to the good policies of the Trump admin.
Whose he trying to heal, Jeffery Epstein?
“You gotta goose these people every once in a while. You gotta give them a little shot, give them a little whack, let them know that you’re there.”
~ Art Weingartner
If it’s not fake, then I think whoever created this did it to trick Trump into posting it. For whatever reason, Trump didn’t look closely and see what it represents or who he’s healing.
President Trump knows what he is doing.
In the end he believes that posting such images at its minimum is just fun and at its maximum will energize the voters to an extent that Republicans pick up seats in the House. Maybe 30-50 seats!
“Pope needs to stay in his lane...”
That’s the way I see it too. If Leo wants to be president, then Trump can be the Lord.
Rather, even defending this blasphemous egotism is jumping the shark.
When I first saw this, I thought Paul Newman.
I don’t disagree with that. But this image rubs me the wrong way. And I think Christians might get a little irked if they see it. I get it, he’s trolling. But you don’t want to alienate your base while doing it.

Yes, I thought it was obvious, which is whyu I initially thought it was fake.
This is what I posted on x about this:
This was posted 7 minutes before AF1 landed, shortly after Pope Leo accused Trump of “delusions of omnipotence”. Grok says it is 70-90% likely it was created and posted by Dan Scovino or Natalie Harp. It’s been removed.
While deeply offensive to me, I think that might be the point. Trump acting as if he is Jesus is like Pope Leo acting as if he’s President. Scavino/Harp may be saying Leo should stay in his lane & let Trump stay in his. Stupid mistake to post this way. We’ll see if Trump comments
Not older, just wiser. I have no proof for this, but I wonder if a major reason that his daughter opted out of participating in his second administration was because she may have tried to get him to filter some of the self harming unfiltered statements, etc., that he kept putting out. But he would not stop.
Trump not only hurts himself but all Americans who want conservative America first policies in place. People who consume only the propaganda media have no idea of the long list of outstanding things that Trump has done for Americans. They are instead repeatedly bombarded with his insulting comments. Trump loses another segment of voters each time. Without these lost segments of voters, Republicans will have a more difficult time preserving their majority in the midterms.
