THe only reason libs are p**sed off about the image is because it reminds them their is a God by invoking similar imagery. Trump is implying that he is the savior of the US, healing the sick nation (represented by a man) in the bed.
I wouldn’t say he is saying he is God or Christ. Just performing a miracle (which in a way he is).
But his social media staff’s (Baron??) choice of imagery is not the best, for sure.

There is another dynamic at play here. Trump’s post reflects and strengthen’s America’s hand with Iran by letting them know that the Vatican’s wish that we soften our position and lay down our arms will not be allowed to be used as a political bludgeon against us.

Im Catholic and the Pope’s job is to tend his flock not engage in world politics. This new Pope is as bad as the last one.
