WASHINGTON — The Senate advanced a resolution Thursday to block President Trump from taking additional military action in Venezuela, just five days after the capture of Caracas strongman Nicolas Maduro.
In a 52-47 vote, the upper chamber agreed to consider a so-called “War Powers resolution” to force Trump to end hostilities toward the South American nation, in a blow to the administration.
The measure must still clear the Senate and House to take effect

The War Powers Act is unconstitutional, so this is meaningless.
Thanks for pointing that out. Every president has considered it unconstitutional. If the senate pushes it, maybe we have a man that will push back.

Elected Republicans get so pissy happy whenever they are allowed to just be in the same room with feral Democrat politicians. It’s like they finally got to the big leagues and just want the autographs of all of the major league players they used to know only through their baseball card collections.

The point of my post was to show that it was a statement......if those 5 could stop Trump on this or anything else for that matter they would.
