I’ve never been lucky enough to have FRESH lobster but hear it’s awesome.
When I lived on the NC coast eons ago, I’d eat at restaurants that had their own fishing boats and the fish was so much better than the same fish at restaurants around here. Can’t beat fresh-caught.

Yep, she was there for several of the shoots. She had great stories to tell of when she was in ''the sandbox".
I wished that you could have showed up, too...and your hubby.
I do understand...especially now...that it's practically
impossible when you have kitties to take care of. If it weren't for Shelley.......
Totally can't beat fresh caught seafood. We walked down that path to where
the lobster boats put in and picked those lobsters. Or rather Ms B did most of the picking.
I had no idea what to look for. LOL!

. The red building was where we picked them out...I think.
Pic taken from the window of the room where hubby & I slept.
And speaking of sleeping, guess I'd better try it. See ya tomorrow!

Yep, it isn’t easy to take off when there are a lot of kitties to be taken care of. And we had a lot more back in those days than there are now. It doesn’t help living off the beaten path, not so convenient to come out here twice a day.
We’d have gone to at least one shoot if we could have.
Y’all were getting lobsters about as fresh as one can get! Right out the back door.
Sleep well. I’m shutting this thing down and getting ready to hit the pillows too. Catch ya tomorrow.

My father ran the Young Men’s Bible Class at the Presbyterian Church. The church was a cathedral whose campus covered two city blocks. It was led by WW2 vets who had been coming since they got home from the war. One of the men brought a Danish ring coffee cake made in a Moravian bakery. Best thing I ever ate and no longer made there today.
