Homan went to Minneapolis for a sit-down with the Dems, and it doesn’t sound like they want to cooperate.

They want ICE out of their city, and don’t want to help federal law enforcement enforce federal immigration laws.

They have also yet to tell Minnesotans to stand down.

Trump has been waiting for the opportune moment, but I don’t see how we do this without invoking the Insurrection Act. If the Dems are going to refuse to help ICE, and continue to tell their followers to violently obstruct ICE, then ICE needs US MIL to keep the peace and provide security while they conduct operations.

Trump says that it’s not a “pullback” in Minnesota, it’s a “little bit of change”.

He reminds us that these people obstructing law enforcement are “paid insurrectionists”, and Trump wants Homan to manage the situation.

The Dems didn’t cave and neither did Trump. If anything, the Dems just made it worse on themselves. Now they have to deal with Homan, and the more the Dems resist, the closer they get to Trump sending active duty military who are on standby.

Trump would later go on to say that he is not retreating, he says it’s “the opposite”.

He says the violence in Minneapolis looks bad for the Dems and not him.

Trump said Noem is doing a great job, she’s not going anywhere, and stayed firm on his stance that we have to deport the illegals.

Meanwhile, the Dems have not calmed down their rhetoric against ICE/Trump.

Nothing has changed. It appears both sides are fighting for optics during this chaos.

Trump is remaining calm and controlled, making sure not to appear trigger-happy or ruthless, because the Dems are desperate to paint him as Hitler. The Dems are trying to play victim and make it seem as if they are under assault from a totalitarian dictator.

I think we are witnessing a bit of tact from Trump. I think he decided to throw a little water on the fire to calm things down, but neither side has actually relinquished their posture. Trump is still going to deport the illegals, and the Dems are still going to fight him every step of the way.

The situation in Minnesota cannot stand.

The Dems are teaching the public, that if you throw a big enough fit, the law doesn’t apply to you.

A society cannot function like this.

If they don’t have to follow the law, why should the rest of us?

Google recently settled a massive class action lawsuit for $68 million after smart device users accused the company’s virtual assistant tool of recording their conversations without their knowledge or consent.

The settlement was reached last week in Northern California and stems from allegations that the tool recorded users even when they did not preface something with “Hey Google,” “Okay Google,” or press a button on the device.
Users claimed that the devices must have recorded them without their knowledge or consent when they received targeted advertisements for things they did not ask Google about.
Google said in the filing late Friday that it was settling to avoid the “uncertainty, risk, expense, inconvenience and distraction” of a lengthy court battle, according to The Hill, and it did not admit to any wrongdoing. The settlement still needs to be approved by a judge.
The settlement comes after Apple reached a similar $95 million settlement last year over its voice assistant Siri allegedly listening to private or confidential conversations that were then shared with third-party businesses and used to help cultivate interesting ads for the users on Safari or its Apple Search.

First, groups allegedly involved in the scheme would see if there was a law enforcement response when an ATM was tampered with, and then deploy the malware through a thumb drive, which federal authorities call “jackpotting,” according to the DOJ.
The malware would issue unauthorized commands to the ATM system and force cash withdrawals, per the department.

The order says Schiltz will cancel Lyons’ appearance if the detainee is released from custody.
ICE and the Department of Homeland Security didn’t immediately respond to the AP’s requests for comment on Tuesday.
