I’m absolutely flabbergasted, and you will be too.
So, before I started writing for the day, I was looking for value in sports bets just to get a few in before the evening grind. One of the ways that I do this is by scrolling down my Twitter timeline, scanning for numbers and seeing if anything pops. From there, I get all scientific with it, but that’s another story for another day.
I want to tell you what I came across while doing this, and it will absolutely blow your mind. (I actually took a break from looking for bets to get right on this, that’s how insane this is)
There are this Twitter account named @NFL_is_scripted, and there’s only 10 tweets that it’s published, with all of them being connected to Super Bowl 50 between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers. The Broncos ultimately won this game, 24-10.
@NFL_is_scripted started out their short series of tweets saying that it found evidence that the NFL has “scripts” for their games.
We’ve found evidence that the NFL creates “scripts” for how some of their games should go. Here’s what’ll happen in SB50:

They then proceed to tweet out what will happen in Super Bowl 50, and you can verify it yourself at ESPN, they literally got everything correct. Mind you, it posted this information (Feb. 1—3, 2016) days before SB50, which was held Feb. 7, 2016.

C.J. Anderson scored a 2-yard touchdown run (Broncos also got a two-point conversion) — 7/7.
@NFL_is_scripted also dished out before the Super Bowl that Denver was going to win (8/8) and by a 24-10 score (9/9).
Denver will win.

Final score: 24 – 10

I don’t even know how to react to this … my mind is completely blown … and quite frankly, I’m starting to think maybe the league is rigged. (And FYI, I couldn’t find any verifiable evidence that any tweets have been deleted. This appears to be a real situation.)
What the hell is going on?
Yeah! Those liars!!
Nah. That’s nothing. Look up when the head female ref gave the Washington Redskins the football saying the Browns fumbled and Skins recovered.
But at the end of hte play you see the Browns have the ball and wasn’t even in the scrum pile. There was no ball in the scrumpile! And the replay officials did NOT overturn it either!
*************************************************************************
Yeah, the Ref had no choice! The script dictated that the ball was fumbled and recovered by the Redskins. Who are ya gonna believe.. the ref or your lying eyes. /sarc
No actually mostly coaches go nowhere after their stint in Dallas is done. Look at their 2 most recent former coaches, Jason Garrett who had a 10 year long stint of mediocrity in Dallas, did 1 year as OC in New York and has been working for NBC ever since; and Mike McCarthy who the Greenbay faithful were so glad to get rid of, then the Cowboys hired him, he racked up some regular season wins, but nothing in the playoffs, and got fired last year and currently has no football job. Prior to Garrett you had Wade Phillips who bounced around the league as a coordinator, and has been in the XFL and UFL the last few years. Prior to him Parcells who finally really retired after his stint in Dallas. Dave Campo who did nothing. Chan Gailey, again did nothing. So no, ex Cowboys coaches don’t do great after Jerry fires them, they mostly do nothing.
Stephen doesn’t hate the Cowboys. He probably hates Skip, but everybody hates Skip.
Yeah Dallas played the 2 teams in the SB when they were in flux and won. High point in an otherwise mediocre season because, as always, Jerry doesn’t know how to build a team. They’ll suck next year too, cause Jerry doesn’t know how to build a team.
False start is only a 5 yarder. And if that’s the only penalty you get, your numbers will be good.
You know what else happened this year, Cowboys Giants was a day game for the first time in decades. Not prime time, not even in the afternoon slot. 11AM kick off. Dallas fans are giving up.
Plenty of sports have this kind of gap. Especially in North America where we salary caps and parity. Here it’s not about how much money the team makes, it’s about spending it intelligently. Jerry’s not good at that. But even outside of here, Manchester United is a freaking trainwreck, with no end in sight. There’s really nothing unusual about it, the high fall, the low rise, that’s what sports does, except sometimes the low are grossly mismanaged and stay low. That’s part of the fun. Jerry is a bad GM, the Cowboys will not contend again as long as he runs the team.
The rig was so obvious Bill Leavey, the ref referee apologized.
That's where I point to. Remember the "Jerome Bettis (Pittsburgh RB) is from Detroit" talking point that was all over the media before the game. Think maybe the Mob wasn't involved? It sure looked like a "fixed fight".
I'm guessing the Seahawks cried foul so loudly that Seattle was handed Super Bowl 48 (vs Denver) to make it up to them. Then the Broncos complained to the league so Denver was handed Super Bowl 50 (vs Carolina).
Arian Foster (Houston RB) said the league was scripted and was mocked.
Yeah...the Dallas game a couple of years back. Dan Skipper, #70, reported as eligible...now they have to actually repeat via speakers that the player has reported.
There was a game where Golden Tate “scored” a TD with several seconds left. If they’d have called him short there was at least a chance to run another play (or spike). But no, after replay, they declared it was no TD, he was short, and because of this...a 10s runoff penalty. Game over. Lions lose.
Gambling. This year the Chiefs didn’t make the playoffs, in short the league helped them lose so they could move the team. Loudest recorded audio ever in a Stadium, loyal fans, great football weather. . . . . . . to. Indoor stadium, all by the time Mahomes is drinking road pops with the 6 or seven TV personalities there will be on each TV pregame, postgame and halftime..
I’ll take it further. I think there used to be (maybe still is) where several upsets happened the same Sunday. I felt that’s when the Players Assoc rolled into Vegas with heavy wagers on all the underdogs. Kept their offices funded for the rest of the year.
Like all grand conspiracy theories - it requires too many people to be involved that, as a whole, aren’t smart enough or disciplined enough to keep their mouths shut.
exquisitly done
I’ve seen teams near the end of games march down the field based on nothing but flag after flag for ticky-tack stuff by the defense they weren’t calling all game, or nothing at all. It certainly feels at such times - not one bad call but several in a row - that the refs are trying to impact the game.
Fear.
Cam Newton did not want to risk CTE just to win the Super Bowl.
This article is BS that has been discredited. But...
Two words: “Tuck Rule”
The website gematrinator.com - does a lot of decoding of sports, using Gematria and numerology. Numeric patterns run through everything, and these numbers connect in other ways.
At the main page, select Blog; scroll down on the right side to Categories and select Rigged Sports. The most current post is listed first, December 28, 2025. I would suggest scrolling down to the bottom of the list where it gives the page order, 1 - 2 - 3...and select the last one which is 80. This brings you to his earliest sports decodes, two for 2017, then it goes to 2018. Starting at the older posts might be a better introduction to the subject. You can tell from the post titles which sport is being discussed.
He shows how these patterns indicate that games, players, scores, even specific plays - all conform numerically - which indicates scripting.
It's amazing.
For the $ame rea$on the WWE follow$ a $cript.
None of this explains Dallas being the most penalized team.
It’s absurd.
Being a coach in the nfl is rare. Having such a list of coaches proves the coaching staff is not the problem. And Dallas can have any coach they want. Jerry has agreed to make a deal to let the cowboys be close but not in.
Why would the chargers commit false starts but not other penalties. As you note it’s a low yardage penalty.
Too much money involved in both NFL and college football for the outcomes to be not somewhat controlled. I don’t believe that the teams could convincingly “script” a game as described - too many players involved and someone would squeal. But I do believe that the desired outcomes are dictated by the gambling interests and controlled as well as possible through front office, medical and officiating decisions, without most of the players’ knowledge.
Or holding. There is holding on every play.
“Tuck Rule”....😫
