Am I the only one whose font size has shrunk to miniscule on 2 different devices? And nothing seems to fix it in my settings or my account settings. The forum is useless to me like this.
Bracing for finger pointing and ridicule.

“Adjust Chrome’s accessibility settings
Open the Chrome browser and tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Select Settings.
Scroll down and tap Accessibility.
Adjust the Default zoom slider until the text in the preview is large enough for you to read comfortably.”
This worked for me on my Android. I adjusted it to 175. The font is larger, and the text wraps as it’s supposed to.
Thank you! Now I have to change this on Hubby’s device.
Android is Google’s OS.
Right. I thought you were being specific about the actual Google devices.
I think I’m starting to hate cellular.
Dang. Didn’t mean to cause you trouble. It fixed my Samsung Galaxy phone.
I’ve caught myself doing that too!................
I’m not saying it’s aliens, but................
It only happens on my Amazon Tablet; never on the desktop PC.
I don’t use the cellphone for this.
When I was a wee young kid one of my favorite books was The Know-How Book of Spycraft. My friends and I were always checking it out of the library. I always wondered what a real microdot looked like. Thanks to you I have to wonder no more :-P
Oh phone/Android, I just use the pinch and zoom. FR is one of the few websites that isn’t mobile friendly.
On PC browser, Crtl+ or Ctrl- to zoom in/out. Not a mobile device but I like FR at 110% on my laptop.
Works on my Linux Mint desktop too
More and more people are talking about androids a d their android phones. These human looking robots sound like a danger to me.
On regular posts, the font didn’t change noticeably. It did change on Hal’s Cryptogram Helper — I liked the old font better.
I just downloaded Firefox on to my Android...problem solved.
Not helpful.
It is missing the viewport code when you right click on a webpage and click on View page source. Chrome sees very tiny text on my Samsung Galaxy S10 cell phone android cell phone when it was normal size not to long ago.
I emailed this site on Oct 12 to jimrob@psnw.com but no reply and the viewport is still missing. Only Free Republic is affected. Other websites have no issue.
I switched to Firefox on the cell phone and it shows the text normal.
On the desktop pc the text is normal using Chrome or Firefox.
The cell phone text was adjusted in Settings long ago to make the text bigger then when stock.
meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, initial-scale=1”
<!— keeps text the size you want in cell phone screens. Without it the text will be very small. —>
Here is the code that every webpage should have at the top.

Googled: add meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, initial-scale=1”
