Matt Walsh Calls for Pam Bondi to Be Fired Immediately Over Charlie Kirk Crackdown: ‘Get Rid of Her. Today.’
Mediaite ^ | September 16, 2025 | Sean James

Popular conservative creator Matt Walsh called for Attorney General Pam Bondi to be fired immediately after she said businesses must allow fans of Charlie Kirk to print posters in honor of the slain Turning Point USA founder.

Walsh said that comment, to go along with Bondi’s recent statement on targeting “hate speech” against Kirk, as well as her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, make it clear President Donald Trump needs to fire her.

“Get rid of her. Today. This is insane,” Walsh posted on X on Tuesday, in response to a clip of Bondi talking about companies not being able to “discriminate” against Kirk’s fans.

He continued: “Conservatives have fought for decades for the right to refuse service to anyone. We won that fight. Now Pam Bondi wants to roll it all back for no reason. The employee who didn’t print the flyer was already fired by his employer. This stuff is being handled successfully through free speech and free markets. This is totally gratuitous and pointless. We need the AG focused on bringing down the left wing terror cells, not prosecuting Office Depot for God’s sake.”

Walsh is referring to Office Depot recently firing an employee who refused to print posters honoring Kirk.

The Daily Wire star’s X post above came less than thirty minutes after he said Bondi has been a train wreck when it comes to key issues.

“Between this ‘hate speech nonsense and Epstein, Pam Bondi has committed two of the most egregious errors we’ve ever seen from an Attorney General,” Walsh posted. “How many seismic fuck ups will Trump permit her before he cuts her loose? Is this a ten strikes and you’re out deal or what?”

That comment follows Bondi saying criticism of Kirk after his murder last week in Utah costitutes “hate speech,” and is not protected by the First Amendment.

“There’s free speech and then there’s hate speech, and there is no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie, [for it] in our society,” Bondi said in an interview with former White House official Katie Miller.

Bondi added: “We will absolutely target you, go after you if you are targeting anyone with hate speech, anything, and that’s across the aisle.”

The AG’s comments on hate speech were mocked by both right and left wingers. Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume, for example, said Bondi “should know” whatever someone deems hate speech is protected by the Constitution, no matter how vile it is.

Walsh, meanwhile, has said he is happy to see the “barbarians” who have cheered the killing of Kirk being fired. “Leftists Are Getting Fired Right and Left for Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Death. Good,” one video posted on his YouTube account, which has 3.3 million subscribers, was titled on Tuesday.

I never considered that maybe Trump should have asked you who to nominate for Attorney General?

Got it. You’re just mad that Trump didn’t make Matt Walsh AG.

"Just because I'm not qualified to fill every executive position in the federal government doesn't mean I can't speak out against incompetence in the federal government."

It's a given that there's incompetence in the federal government. It's been going on for decades. Saying someone is doing a terrible job means nothing unless you offer specifics or examples of what you based your opinion on. If someone wants their comment to be taken seriously, explain why they feel that way. Otherwise, it's just another off-the-cuff BS comment.

If I post urging people to shoot Miami Rebel in the head, that’s not protected. Nor should it be. Or firebombing a church or mosque, etc. Or the Capitol, or DJT or VP Vance, or heaven forbid Nancy Pelosi...

Bondi either at the time or in a clarification, said words to the effect the DOJ is considering hate speech promoting promoting direct violence to persons or institutions worthy of being looked at for sanctions.

I don’t have an issue with that. I have seen posts on FR where I think “Man, they shouldn’t say it that way.” As do the mods, they routinely remove flagrant posts.

The UK is an enemy of America, trying to use us to accomplish their foolish goals such as Ukraine. They were eyeballs deep in foisting the Covid scam on us, they are pushing the green new deal and globalism agenda on us...
They are threatening to arrest US citizens for social media posts. They are fining US social media companies for free speech.
They are passionate enemies of freedom and free speech.

If they have reasons to meet, the king needs to come here and beg, not summon a President.

And America is being neglected, interests of so-called allies can wait.

Saying someone is doing a terrible job means nothing unless you offer specifics or examples of what you based your opinion on.

The previous democrat AG, Merrick Garland, prosecuted more democrats (Senator Bob Menendez, Representative Henry Cuellar, Mayor Eric Adams) than Pam Bondi (zero).

The main reason of Elon Musk's fallout with Trump is that his DOGE team found tens of billions of dollars stolen from the US treasury, 400,000 social security numbers stolen and sold, and billions in misappropriated USAID funds, but nobody has been held accountable for it.

Not to mention Bondi's refusal to charge Tish James, Peter Shit, and the intel cadre who colluded and falsified evidence against Trump in December 2016 and January 2017.

Not to mention Bondi lied about "Epstein files on her desk" and "Epstein files never existed."

Not to mention the FBI still has not identified the January 6th pipe bomber, nor has released the results of its Butler investigation.

"The previous democrat AG, Merrick Garland, prosecuted more democrats (Senator Bob Menendez, Representative Henry Cuellar, Mayor Eric Adams)

George W. Bush appointed Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez failed to get Menendez the first time around, and the only reason the RATS went after Menendez and his wife the second time, along with Eric Adams and Henry Cuellar was because somebody said they needed to go. Henry Cuellar is still in office. His case hasn't gone to trail yet, and a Judge dismissed two of the charges already.

The Obama/Biden duo allowed Menendez to run rampant for the 8 years they were in office. It's not as if he wasn't still committing crimes. Sessions wasn't in office long enough to fart, and Bill Barr and Rod Rosenstein were more interested in stabbing Trump in the back than they were doing their jobs. Rosenstein signed one of the Carter Page FISA extensions.

RATS did the same thing with Andrew Cuomo. His time was up too. He had to go, no matter what, so they came up with a bunch of sexual related horse$hit because they couldn't pin him down on corruption, which he was actually guilty of.

The RATS drummed up unproven charges on Trump. They even changed the statute of limitations in order to charge him with sexual assault, and made a misdemeanor offense a felony in the fraud case.

Like I said, if they want someone, RATS will do what it takes to get to them, even the scumbags in their own party. Menendez pissed someone off. So did Cuomo, and so did Adams. I won't judge Bondi or Patel until Trump says he's unhappy with them. I'm not going to second-guess the man. I don't expect instant gratification either, especially since I have no inside information regarding what evidence exists to even bring charges.

“I don’t support the proverbial lunch counter - that was racial and ‘racial’ isn’t a choice.”

OK. So what did you mean when you endorsed the absolute right “to refuse service to anyone.”

Why did President Trump not say she’s “been disastrous.”

Because she's his disaster. He stood by Bill Barr for a long time as well. We know how that turned out.

I pray that Bondi is not another Bill Barr, but with each fumble like this one, I hear the bagpipes playing a little louder.

I prefer to assume Bondi sees things that we don’t see, and so has good reason for walking things a bit slowly.

For example, our enemies are likely to do things like put a bomb somewhere and say if you do such and such, we detonate. And then they add multiple other such traps.

There is a plan. It will happen. But it has to happen according to what has been laid out. There are people working on this that we don’t see. Bondi knows this. Understand the concept of biding one’s time.

Hate speech is free speech. Free speech is not in the BOR to protect polite speech, it is there to protect speech some of us may abhor.

One need only look at Britain where people are jailed for posting their opinion or praying silently in public.

If Bondi pursues this hate speech as a crime, we will all pay dearly for this when the Left retakes the Presidency.

The solution is what is happening right now - firings, expulsions, boycotts, shunning & shaming. The law cannot police speech, but the public can.

Right. Same as with Sessions and Barr. Tick tock. Boom. Kraken. Free beer tomorrow.

You'll excuse me for taking the position of skepticism until we actually see some actions taken.

There is a distinct difference between hate speech and threatening speech. Hearing an AG talk about a crackdown on hate speech does not give me comfort.
