Six severed heads have been found by the side of the road in Mexico alongside a chilling message in an area where such brutal violence is rare, Mexican prosecutors said.
The male remains were discovered by a road linking the central Mexican states of Puebla and Tlaxcala, prosecutors said on Tuesday.
Alongside the heads was a pamphlet blaming the savage killings on the settling of scores between rival gangs, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

Both Puebla and Tlaxcala are usually considered among the safest states in Mexico to visit, with the US State Department designating them a Level 2 travel advisory, the second-lowest warning.
...
However, the State Department notes that both states face issues with criminal gangs that move drugs, fuel and humans through central Mexico.
Extreme violence — including decapitation — is usually concentrated around northern and western states along the Pacific coast.

“What’s that on the road, a head?”
“Cut! No no no it’s ‘What’s that on the road, ahead?”
-Benny Hill
Time to invade and deal with the cartels once and for all.
Not so safe any more.
I think Benny hill stole that joke from my Dad. LOL.
??????????????????????
As I have stated previously, I have lived and worked in Mexico and Central America. I am fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. I even saved up $$$$ and went to college in Spain. I just love Spanish.
I will never visit Mexico again in my lifetime. I would love to show my beautiful bride the botanical gardens of Chapultepec; the natural waters of Uruapan.
We will not.
Some friends did not believe me, and wanted to visit a resort on the coast of Cancún. The resort owners said they had constructed a safe place. Since the gangs and Cartels could not just drive into the area, they raided the resort with jet skis from the water. My friends had not already gone, so they were lucky.
Some folks think they’re safe if they stay at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico.
Well, you have to get there and back from the resort, don’t you?
I love good road head.
I have vacationed in Mexico many times, myself. The first time when I was only 17 - in Acapulco. What an absolute blast my friend and I had. We worked all summer after HS Graduation, then treated ourselves to two weeks there. The last time I went was when I was in my 40’s.
And I can attest that Cancun absolutely sucks. Dirty, dangerous. And you can’t DO anything unless you get away from there! The beach isn’t even safe to use (as you said).
I, too, will never be going back.
If it weren’t for Trump, I’d be saying “Coming to a city near you.”
Movie....
Great tie-in.
I was going to post it.
Police ruled out Walt Disney.
But after the movie Seven (Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt) could be anyone.
That horrible ending. No, I am not recommending that movie.
Well, if they’re killing each other off, well....... so be it.
And the dangerous areas?
My house is from Guadalajara. I go there routinely. I feel less safe in Chicago.
Kind of sounds like a not real good spot to vacation in.
Reminds me of the movie Sicario, that’s a movie not for the faint of heart.
RE: the movie Sicario, that’s a movie not for the faint of heart.
Haven’t seen it. Critical summary: It concludes with a sense of lingering darkness and the realization that the cycle of violence and corruption will continue, according to film critics.... the broader conflict with the drug cartels remains unresolved, and the film highlights the futility of the “war on drugs”. The ending leaves the audience with a sense of despair.”
Just like my real life.
