One of Mexico's safest regions

??????????????????????

As I have stated previously, I have lived and worked in Mexico and Central America. I am fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. I even saved up $$$$ and went to college in Spain. I just love Spanish.

I will never visit Mexico again in my lifetime. I would love to show my beautiful bride the botanical gardens of Chapultepec; the natural waters of Uruapan.

We will not.

Some friends did not believe me, and wanted to visit a resort on the coast of CancĂșn. The resort owners said they had constructed a safe place. Since the gangs and Cartels could not just drive into the area, they raided the resort with jet skis from the water. My friends had not already gone, so they were lucky.

I have vacationed in Mexico many times, myself. The first time when I was only 17 - in Acapulco. What an absolute blast my friend and I had. We worked all summer after HS Graduation, then treated ourselves to two weeks there. The last time I went was when I was in my 40’s.

And I can attest that Cancun absolutely sucks. Dirty, dangerous. And you can’t DO anything unless you get away from there! The beach isn’t even safe to use (as you said).

I, too, will never be going back.
