Idiots. New York isn’t next. Trump has no authority to step in there.

But he has every right (Even the execrable Muriel Bowser acknowledges this) to do what he has in Washington D.C.

Leftists are such idiots.

So many of the protesters in DC always look like well-off White people from tony parts of the District that see little or no crime...

I suppose President Trump could call Gavin Newscum and ask him how Gavin hid the homeless and cleaned up the excrement during the Xi Jinping visit.

The homeless are not a monolith. Many are druggies. Some have lost reality in their minds. Some are criminals, sluggards and worthless people. Some got punched in the mouth through no doing of their own.

There is no affordable, practical way to put all of these people somewhere and take care of them.

Easy peasy, take the homeless home with you and provide for them.

Big liberal cities before 1980 didn't have a homeless problem, because they were taken off the streets and sent to mental hospitals. Yes I said *liberal* cities.

I'm old enough to remember what changed.

It will be fun when the democrats complain about the vagrants, homeless, and criminals, that don’t exist, invade their nice neighborhoods. AND it will be fun to listen to the poor neighborhood activists complain if all those people, that supposedly don’t exist, are sent back by the rich white liberals.

I have long advocated that the USG should completely take over D.C. No more permanent residency, and major businesses should be leased back to their companies. Embassies are retained by their respective countries.

Then infrastructure should be rebuilt from below the ground up.

No citizens, no need for government.

I want to help the homeless.... The truly homeless. I think most people do. Unfortunately, today’s homeless are largely career homeless falling into several categories: druggies, mentally diminished, and criminals.

True homelessness is usually a temporary condition. When you fund and accept something, it grows. That’s what we have now.

We need to care for our veterans, open asylums again, dump the druggies onto open arable land and tell them to farm periodically checking on them.

We need a worker’s corp. They can be trained to repair the country’s failing infrastructure, etc.

Women with small children can form communes to help one another so that some can work outside to support those caring for the kids.

Temporary housing for families in need and retraining if necessary.... With time limits...

All with consequences.

I’m sure we can think of some things.

I worked with a homeless outreach ministry through our insurance business last year and found that about 10% of those I ministered to were interested in getting off the street. I gave away all of my heavy clothes, tent, bicycles, and bought food and blankets during the winter only to watch most of the people we were trying to help sneak off to smoke crack with their buds.

My wife and I took one into our home while the ministry found her a place to live, gave her furniture to set up house keeping only to be cursed at because we would not support the lesbian lifestyle she suddenly confessed to.

There were several that did well though. I have one man in his sixties that slept in a ditch for two years to be close to his wife that was in a nursing home. We got him a voucher for housing when his Medicare kicked in, and a couple more that seemed to be able to recover.

I believe in helping the poor of our tribe, but giving outside of the tribe is not biblical and doesn’t seem to bear much fruit.
