The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) girls’ softball state tournament is officially under way — and so is the controversy surrounding Champlin Park’s starting pitcher.
Marissa Rothenberger, a trans-identifying male athlete, threw a complete-game shutout Wednesday morning as No. 2-seeded Champlin Park defeated No. 7 Eagan, 5-0, in the Class AAAA quarterfinals. Rothenberger allowed seven hits and struck out four in the win.
Rothenberger, whose participation in girls’ sports highlights a growing trend across the state and country, threw 14 shutout innings in back-to-back games in the sectional finals to help Champlin Park reach the state tournament.
On Wednesday, not everyone in the stands was clapping.
Two Eagan parents, both of whom requested anonymity for the sake of their daughters, expressed frustration and disappointment after the game. One mother, wearing a “Save Girls’ Sports” T-shirt, said the outcome felt inevitable.
“I was pretty disappointed and frustrated,” she told OutKick. “I think we’ve seen this happen over and over again to our girls. You look online, and you see women transitioning to men, and they’re not dominating any of the men’s sports. You don’t see that. But on the women’s side, you see it over and over again across the country. It’s super frustrating. I knew it was eventually going to happen to my daughter. I was sad to see it happen to her.”

Just a few guesses. The girls and parents want to play hoping a tranny doesn't show up to spoil the event. Also, if they boycott events that may have a negative impact on college admissions.
If I, a male, were a family member of the opposing team, I would put on a dress, some baseball cleats, and try to hit the ball right back at him.
Heck, every brother and uncle should do the same thing. Make a statement by joining the team, wear hot pink, and nail this creep. The ones in hot pink could all be classified as pinch hitters.
There was this guy we used to know who was dressed as a girl even with the hormones for breast growth and long hair, with leg shaven and facial hair removed, all that. We accepted him as a woman and some people were actually fooled but we knew. The drunk guy at the bar who thought he was going to get lucky with the skinny blonde chick was fooled. I felt sorry for him. Anyway, the the guyrl was playing softball on a women’s team in tight shorts when hirs junk popped out in front of everyone. I wasn’t there but I heard about it. The opposing team raised heck over it. This was 12 or 15 years ago. See how Democrats can screw something up so bad and so quickly?
In baseball the coach sometimes checks for cups with a baseball bat: “cup check!”
People in Minnesota, given their voting records, deserve to suffer.
Parents need to start doing more than “call out” if they want changes. At the rate we’re going, girls are going to lose college scholarships if boys keep stealing from them.
Parents should ask themselves if they’d rather let the boys steal from their daughters to be politically correct, or if they’d rather pony up tens of thousands of dollars to pay for college educations.
This is a top down policy. Don't elect pro-trans board members.

Each will say, “Our hands are tied, we have to play them on the team.”, secretly holding dreams of greatness for the school.
And we scold D-I football for recruiting violations.
The same people who are outraged by cultural appropriation have no problem with gender appropriation.

They got 8 hits in seven innings and couldn’t put a run on the board. They seem to have had bigger problems than the pitcher.
I still am shocked at how the parents all over the country have not stood up and revolted hard against any of this nonsense. It endangers the safety of the females and ruins their chanced to get scholarships and money for winning instead of coming in 11th after the pansy boys pretending to be girls.
Stand up and fight, you parents.
