Wow!!! A grandson to be real proud of.
Lol we were all surprised! He never lets on or says much of anything when we ask. His marks are good, but he’s otherwise very quiet about school, except complaining because this teacher talks too much or they waste too much time painting stuff for the play, etc.
As far as the Good Samaritan award.....well, his sisters obviously had no say in that!
Yes, Amy’s is more or less closed now, except when people want to go there to honor her memory. I didn’t feel right doing all the stuff there without her.
I don’t see anyone from work. When I quit, though I do love the place, I was DONE with anything to do with work. LOL! I still buy the occasional piece, though. Mostly on eBay.
There are tons of illegals here, but our police force are on top of things. I personally haven’t seen any bad stuff going on. Their little “no kings” thing was tiny here. Lots of counter-protesters. LOL! As it should be.

If I was actively bleeding out, 8 would have this doctor calling for a transfusion. However, I am having this problem addressed very soon and it should become high again with treatment. It does explain why walking down my driveway wears me out.
A basic pedicure is about $12. That is trimming and smoothing the nail and removing the dead cuticle around the toe bed. That, in and of itself, is great.
Hi Ms S!! Most podiatrists can word their diagnosis appropriately- if you gather my gist. The nurses do the actual work. In Ohio I had several elderly male friends who did this. One the nurse came to home. I really don’t know what plans they had and can’t ask as they are all dead. As a casual gal pal I’d visit and cook on occasion but cleaning and nail clipping- well just no!
My back is terrible in many regards. (Profound scoliosis plus three other issues) Bending back extremely painful but bending forward easy. I can still take my legs and put behind my head. I’ve tried hard to maintain flexibility and do stretches and easy weight bearing strength exercises
My problem now with nails is vision. Before cataract surgery I was myopic. Close work good. Now? Nope. Even the perscription glasses not really adequate

My anemia was also not bleeding. The docs were sure I had gut bleed issues and thus the many colon scopes
My iron was high - just not being metabolized
I too could only walk short distance and be gasping for air
When my SIL in Oklahoma took me in to ER I was really sick .really. REALLY SICK
Docs in middle of night began transfusions. My hemoglobin was at 5. He said I was lucky to be alive. They added many units and got me up to 11. I felt like a new woman
I won’t get blood any longer with Covid situation
My last two surgeries I signed waivers for no blood even if life threatening. Only use of my collected blood. Had a wrist brand. Docs agreed. I gave them the evil eye and told them to be careful 😊

This grandson is Natalie and Matt’s middle child, Andy, 13 years of age.
Mike has only married once, just a couple of years ago, and has one girl, Layne, now 2 1/2. His wife has a girl 13 years old whom Mike has become an extraordinary good stepdad to. So, just the 5 of them is all I have, and I am pretty sure that’s it.
We had thunderstorms in the night. I love sleeping when there’s a thunderstorm going on out there!
