Well, it brings me no pleasure to bag on Pepsi but the people have spoken with their almighty dollars.
Recently, Dr Pepper made its debut in the #2 slot, knocking Pepsi to the bronze position.
There's hope for America! Dr Pepper just toppled Pepsi and I am here for it Just when we seemed to be at our darkest hour, a glimmer of hope arose. NOTTHEBEE.COM

Now, the former king of pop (although it has been a few decades now) has been supplanted by what some may consider a surprising choice.
Yes, Sprite is now the country's third-favorite soda.
Let's be honest, these ARE the three best sodas. In places two and three are Dr. Pepper and Sprite, respectively, per the outlet. The former soft drink accounts for 8.3 percent of all canned soda sales, while the latter one is responsible for 8.03 percent, the outlet reported.
Pepsi, in comparison, only has 7.97 percent of the market, according to the outlet.
See ya later, Pepsi!
This isn't so much a hatred of Pepsi, although it is sorta gross, but it's more about how we, as a country, have finally got it right. Trump hasn't even been president for 6 months but already the three best sodas are now the three best selling sodas.
Now we've just got to fix the order and establish Dr Pepper supremacy.
Every day in Texas.
Want a coke?
Yep, I’ll have a Dr. Pepper.
Pepsi reminds me of a coke that was left open for several hours in the hot sun.
I used to like Moxie back in the day.
I remember back in 1975 when the Pepsi challenge was a nationwide advertising thing.
Waiting in line I noticed that there was a different co2 reaction between about 10 seconds after the glass was emptied
I was able to predict 100% which was which before the reveal
unfortunately my psychic career never took off like it should have.
I like Moxie.
No booze > Pepsi
With booze > Coke
It isn’t Sugar; they are too cheap for that and use HFCS or Corn Syrup. It tastes slimy and a bit sour, and is also hard on the liver. Any Soda is degraded severely by this crap.
Coke Zero has no calories, but I have to admit it tastes excellent.
I am quite happy that the Costco food court will be switching back to Coke products this Summer. It was a dark day when they switched to Pepsi a dozen years ago or so.
Did you know that the guy who invented the formula for Dr. Pepper was a real physician, and his wife was named Belle.
Never heard of it, but there is a Walmart around here so I’ll put it on a list to try it. Thanks for the recommendation.
In the Pepsi Vs. Coca-Cola feud, it should be pointed out that for the first 25 or 30 years or so, Pepsi was half the price of Coke. They made a big deal out of it in their advertising. “Pepsi Cola 12 full ounces that’s a lot”. Maybe Coke tasted better, but twice as much for the same price is tough to beat.
I was never able to determine when they reached price parity. Maybe in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

We were in Chattanooga a couple months ago for a Nitty Gritty Dirt Band concert, and tried to stop in at the Moon Pie Country Store to buy some stuff, but they didn’t open until too late in the AM.

>>Vernors Ginger Ale for me
You have excellent taste! Strongest ginger flavor I’ve had. Great mixed with diet cranberry juice.
I order several cartons at a time from Amazon. Diet Ginger Ale is harder to find even at specialty stores around here. They usually come dented, sigh, but it’s still worth it.
I went to a restaurant in San Diego that served ice tea mixed with lemonade. They branded it as “swampwater” and it is a real thirst quencher.
Jolt was the programmers’ “get wired and code” drink of choice for a few years there, years ago.
I just looked it up too. I thought with the name Afri-Cola and the palm tree on the bottle, that it would have had something to do with Germany's African colonies, but it apparently didn't. Good thing it didn't, because it never would have survived the Third Reich otherwise.
Remember my dad favoring rum and Coke back in the 70s.

AKA an Arnold Palmer, available in most stores.
