Well, it brings me no pleasure to bag on Pepsi but the people have spoken with their almighty dollars.
Recently, Dr Pepper made its debut in the #2 slot, knocking Pepsi to the bronze position.
There's hope for America! Dr Pepper just toppled Pepsi and I am here for it Just when we seemed to be at our darkest hour, a glimmer of hope arose. NOTTHEBEE.COM

Now, the former king of pop (although it has been a few decades now) has been supplanted by what some may consider a surprising choice.
Yes, Sprite is now the country's third-favorite soda.
Let's be honest, these ARE the three best sodas. In places two and three are Dr. Pepper and Sprite, respectively, per the outlet. The former soft drink accounts for 8.3 percent of all canned soda sales, while the latter one is responsible for 8.03 percent, the outlet reported.
Pepsi, in comparison, only has 7.97 percent of the market, according to the outlet.
See ya later, Pepsi!
This isn't so much a hatred of Pepsi, although it is sorta gross, but it's more about how we, as a country, have finally got it right. Trump hasn't even been president for 6 months but already the three best sodas are now the three best selling sodas.
Now we've just got to fix the order and establish Dr Pepper supremacy.
Pepsi is for Yankees. We don’t cotton to it down here.
TAB is gone. 😥
Pepsi was invented in my hometown. New Bern NC. It used to be good in the day. Now it sucks. Diet Sunkist is what I drink. One a week.
It was invented in The South, just like Coca-Cola, New Bern, North Carolina.
Dr. Pepper is from Waco, Texas.
My Dad was such an alcoholic they said drink Canada Dry. He went to Canada and drank it dry. - Rodney
However, no prune juice in it.
I think it’s gross. 🤢
Yes, I have been there, I was stationed at Camp Lejeune............
Pibb Zero
Loux is popular in Greece, and it is sold in a few Greek restaurants. No, I’ve never been to Greece.
I have never understood the popularity of Pepsi
Never cared for Dr. Pepper at all. As a kid we drank Coke, Pepsi, Royal Crown Cola, Nehi sodas and Orange Crush in the amber bottle when it still had pulp in it. When 16 ounce bottles came out, they were 15 cents, then NY State put a penny tax on them. I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes back in 2000, and drink mostly caffeine-free Diet Pepsi. Prefer that to Diet Cherry Pepsi. Orange Crush makes a very good zero sugar. A&W Zero Sugar Root Beer is good too.
Yuck
I have happy childhood Yoo-Hoo memories.
Vernors Ginger Ale for me!
We still think Pepsi is for Yankees, even if we invented it. It’s our secret anti-Yankee weapon. We know better than to drink the stuff.
We stuck to sweet tea, Co-Cola (don’t ask me why we leave off the “ca” part of Coca), RC, Dr. Pepper, and Cheerwine — and, of course, good whiskey.
Cute story, except both Pepsi and Coke distribute Dr. Pepper in different parts of the country so they each benefit, as does Keurig/Dr.Pepper which owns the brand. I myself like Pepsi Zero but my favorite is RC Cola.
Only sodas I like are coke, mountain dew and a quality root beer...sprite and 7-up are ok I guess..
Enjoying a fine bottle of Moxie up in Maine at the moment.
Oh yeah. It was a great place. Till alll bleeding heart butt munch liberals moved there. My Dad stationed at Lejuene.
