Kennedys influence is already present in the stores.
We have not seen these sizes fire sale individually in stores in 30 to 40 years
For sale

Little Green Bag
Lance chips are outstanding ... and are hard to find. They usually come in single serving or small bags.
Mom recently told me that when she was little (1950’s) there was a miniature loaf of bread. Typical white, like Wonder Bread or Taystee. It was not much bigger than two or three hot dog buns and to this day she doesn’t know why they made them.
Why not save money, buy a larger bag of chips and exercise self control?
Every Dollar General I’ve been in has them as singles.
Anytime I pick up a sandwich at Jimmy Johns I grab a bag of potato chips (one serving) ... sea salt/vinegar are my favorite.
Not new

People are quick to say that THEY have seen something different than what you saw, but it’s sort of like what you saw. (So apparently you are wrong.)
People are quick to say that some locations carry the item although you may not shop there, so you may not know. (So apparently you are wrong.)
But I for one find it interesting that you saw something new at the locations where you usually shop, and that this may indeed represent some influence of RFK jr and a potential growing trend for companies to market healthier items to the public.
They sell these in the ghetto areas of my city.
I don’t think Kennedy had anything to do with it. It’s shrinkflation.
They aren’t all that.
I rarely see any snack items for sale that are actually one serving. When you read the label most items are 2 or 3 servings.
I swear when I was a kid sodas, chips, candy bars normal size were much smaller than now.
Au contraire, mon frère. I've been buying them at Food Lion ever since shrinkflation started.
They’ve been in my stores for years.
