Ya, it is pretty depressing to see only a few post per day when there is so much going on. Leaving it open is fine for me , but it is hard to post when there is little feed back and lack of discussion. Ya neve know, maybe people will be revived even though there are lots of health care issues.
I loved watching M*A*S*H.
I hate hearing these obituaries though. “She was 87” getting to close to home.
I think lack of feedback and lack of discussion hits the nail on the head. Back and forth is difficult when there’s no back lol.
I also think we’re just not as political as some. Also, we don’t have anyone in charge of the thread who devotes all day and night to making sure everyone is responded to, everyone gets feedback, etc. That’s a full time job, and nobody that I know of has either the inclination or the time to devote the better part of their waking hours to keeping a thread active. Most of us have normal lives, and so the frequency of our posting is not the same.

Lol that’s a cute post. I remember that one you posted awhile back....I laughed and laughed at that one - I think it was everyone getting away to our undisclosed vacation spot. I just remember you running out of the house with your bird cage, and exit and norsky running across the beach. It was so funny lol.

As a long time lurker, I respectfully request that this thread NOT be shut down. It has viewpoints and perspectives that cannot be found on any other thread. I lurk at several, including the other MAGA thread, as well as the Q thread. Each one has viewpoints and info that cannot be found on the others. Each is critical to a balanced understanding. This thread is vitally necessary, even if it is just random posts here and there. The more viewpoints the better, and this one must be heard!
I also hope this thread stays open.
I apologize for not posting more often, but my Dad was sick and then he passed away recently.
Also, two close family members recently got laid off from their jobs. 2025 has been a rough year so far.

Sorry you’ve been having such a miserable year, CJ. I hope it gets better for you and yours. Having gone through a very dark time myself, I can empathize. It stinks, and sure makes one withdraw a bit from any conversation. Sorry for your loss.
