My luggage was delayed but ought to be delivered later today.
Nope, not uneventful, but no matter. I’m here and well enough.

Several of us have asked Dolly to just leave the forum open. She doesn’t need to Ping every week or Post a new thread. Maybe remove the April-May and leave the rest. We can just go along at our pace. So far she has not responded as to that request. :-(

The Democrat inspired and “controlled” Congressional Budget Office (CBO) purposefully gave us an EXTREMELY LOW level of Growth, 1.8% over 10 years. How ridiculous and unpatriotic is that! They did the same thing to us in 2017, and we DOUBLED their numbers. The information they recently released is even more absurd and indefensible. I predict we will do 3, 4, or even 5 times the amount they purposefully “allotted” to us (1.8%) and, with just our minimum expected 3% Growth, we will more than offset our Tax Cuts (which will, in actuality, cost us no money!).

The most recent consideration is that coming to a thread now and then (once a month? Once or twice week) to see what’s going on is not the spirit or intent of the thread and is not a strong reason for continuing . There won’t be much to see if everyone has this mentality

During the 2015-2017 election season, I put in thousands of hours on the twice-daily “MAGA List”—a round-up of links to articles about Trump, his capabilities, history, family, proposals, allies and eventually, his appointments. Even to scan through the list of headlines conveyed lots of info, and any the links could be opened and read in depth for those who had the time or interest.
For this election, I've been posting "Swipe, save and share" meme essays several times per week—collections of political cartoons and memes in support of issues vital to Trump 47's agenda, in hopes that the ideas conveyed will be reshared by freepers in their other threads, other platforms, discussions or conversations.
What takes many hours to prepare takes only minutes to read. I know it is the same for the many free-giving editorial specialists, researchers creators, and daily-thread leaders who make FR so rich in content.
Just my way of saying that, like in a church, there are a handful of people who do most of the work in an organization. Many FR “thought leaders” have the ability and time to work for the furtherance of a FREE REPUBLIC because of retirement, for instance—other very important freepers who are still working have less time available to sustain a daily-thread commitment, but are still connected to live sources in industry, churches, schools or government; they enrich FR with their freshly informed comments and perspectives. We are all needed here.
I do hope a strong and ethical leader can come forward for the Trump Train family. I know I'm not alone in thanking Dolly, and all who have taken on the responsiblity for the Trump Train for so many years.
It's in God's heart who—or whether—will lead going forward. My hands are full with my massive files of visual content to be deployed on topic after topic for the benefit of DJT47 and FR's many readers.
So, into God's hands I lift up this opportunity to serve, or to refrain from serving, to paraphrase King Solomon in Ecclesiastes.

I see now reason to shut down the thread if a few people want to keep it open as a home base and small chat room. It doesn’t require Dolly to do anything really, other than post something or drop in to catch up. I agree with you, Spunky. Shutting it down seems very unnecessary, even though it isn’t the original intent of the thread.
I will continue to check in and keep in touch with the thread.

I think we have to face the fact that the sabotaging of the TFT thread has been successful, for the most part. The two nasty ones who wanted complete control (which meant excluding anyone who didn’t agree with them) have achieved their goal and the results are that there is just no need for two threads.
Because of this, keeping our thread open as a chat room for anyone who wants to drop in seems to make more sense. I’ll continue to drop in and stay in touch.
Judy, on FR there is no “chat room.” This thread is a chat room. Thus, it would be good to keep it open, and when the size becomes unwieldy we start a new one. The thing is, while someone on life support needs intervention to keep going, this thread can exist just by being posted and people dropping by. There ya’ go.
Prayers that Natalie continues to improve are now ongoing.
