Democrats’ unfavorability rating reaches new, 16-year high as party keeps licking wounds following disastrous 2024: poll

Americans may not like the GOP, but they really don’t like the Democratic Party, a new poll has found.

The party of Jefferson, Jackson, Kennedy, Clinton, Obama and Biden holds a 57% unfavorable rating among voters, according to the Quinnipiac University survey released Wednesday, while just 31% of voters say they have a favorable view.

The Republican Party, meanwhile, has a 43% favorability rating among voters and a 45% unfavorability rating, per the poll.

The Democrats’ unfavorability rating is the highest since Quinnipiac pollsters began asking the question in November 2008. Similarly, the percentage of voters viewing the GOP favorably is the highest over the same period.

The brutal rating for Democrats comes as the party is licking its wounds from the 2024 election cycle, which saw all 50 states move to the right.

Internally, Democrats are also trying to find their footing on messaging. The party’s ex-leaders, former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris, have laid low since Trump’s return.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) has reportedly warned his colleagues that Trump will flood the zone with controversial pronouncements.

Instead of getting distracted, NBC reported, Jeffries wants House Democrats to focus on cost of living and other kitchen table issues.

Democrats talk about talking about “kitchen table issues” much like they talk about “crumbling infrastructure” and “fighting for working families.” Meaningless drivel, all of it, meant only to sucker in the booboisie. I think the boobs have begun to wise up.

The one main thing about the RFK Jr. Hearings is that more and more people will see that the Rats are in bed with Big Pharma.

This is causing many lifelong hardcore Democrats to leave the party.

Since this is a Quinnipiac poll, assume that it's even worse for the Democrats than was reported.

H’mmm. Maybe time for a national referendum on banning the Democrat Party as the party of slavery and Jim Crow segregation?

Leftists in Alabama have put up a billboard showing the police etc, confronting the freedom marchers on the Selma bridge, with the slogan, “Make America Great Again.” But they don’t point out that the crowd attacking the freedom marchers was all Democrat.

Trump may be the person who can point this out, along with their current whine about who will pick their crops if we stop exploiting refugees. Maybe he can literally destroy the Democrat Party?

Dem: Favorable 31, Unfavorable 57 net. -26
Rep: Favorable 43 Unfavorable 45 net -2
net overall Republican +24

*********************

My prediction is, after the next economic contraction both political parties will be held in very low regard.

It may take them a while but eventually you'll see politicians who are like Bill Clinton taking charge of the Democratic Party.

The recent candidate selections that the Democrats put up in the last two elections seem to be the most incompetent people available. Even going back to Obama, he was a candidate with no experience and no skills other than reading a TelePrompTer stiffly.

Even the primary candidates seem to have been self selected to be losers.

Amyone with competence seems to shy away from running.

James Carville advised the Democrats to let Trump have his way and, in his terms, let him flail for five or six rounds, like Muhammad Ali did with opposing fighters. Judging by the Democratic Senators screeching and engaging in bombast against RFK, Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and Kash Patel, it looks like Carville’s advice is going unheeded.
