It’s not the White House. But… it’s a short walk to the Park?
Kamala Harris is eyeing post-loss life in New York, we hear.
Page Six spies say that Doug Emhoff toured a $20,000-a-month three-bedroom at the Park Loggia luxury condo building on the Upper West Side last week. (“The missus was missing,” said the source.)
We’re told he arrived at the Lincoln Center high-rise on Friday with a “convoy of SUVs and a phalanx of Secret Service.”
No word yet if the power pair plan to take the apartment.
Meanwhile, a source said, “Not from me, but I heard they were looking to be bicoastal.”
A third said that the soon-to-be-former VEEP and Second Gentleman intend for Los Angeles to continue to be their base when they leave Number One Observatory Circle this week, but conceded that Emhoff has indeed been casting his eye over some homes in the Big Apple on the couple’s behalf.

No one has mentioned the obvious....Dougie wants to be closer to Jill.
Rumour is, they did some kissing.
Governor or Senator?? Pulling a Hillary??
I consider having only one home best.
I think I’d get enough of metro NY with two weeks a year.
You should not pay $20,000/month, $240,000/year just to eat food and go antiques shopping.
Should you pay $600/day just to eat at an expensive restaurant and pay dearly for doing so? Blank no!
Their decisions probably depend most on Doug’s job options.
Kamala can probably make the best bucks writing a book.
If I was a rich ‘rat, probably suburban NJ or Montgomery County, MD would be my East Coast choice.
I remember a lovely house in Riverdale near a commuter rail station for about $2 million.
If I had to live in NYC, Forest Hills Gardens, Prospect Park Heights(?) [south of Prospect Park] and Fieldston would be my preferences typically.
Brooklyn had some lovely brownstone neighborhoods too. I’m not sure they are still lovely.
Bethesda, Maryland has good restaurants, good shopping, good transportation and good, easy commute job options.
I still remember a huge & lovely Tudor-style house for $330,000[1982] in Woodmoor(?) within walking distance to a soon to be opened Metro station.
The Chevy Chases are nice but not as convenient.
She needs to go home to Jamaica or India. Canada probably wouldn’t want her.
All these filthy big shot California politicians belong back in New York... their natural home.
$240K per year for rent! How is she rich? How is that - there are people freezing in the SE, Homeless in California, and This AHAT is looking at $20K a month. What is the deposit on this. How on earth can she afford this.
Wouldn’t that be a first home as her current one burned down?
CC
Bet they’ll try to cheat on a STAR exemption...

“$20,000 a month?”
I know someone in San Francisco who rents out their house for the same money, so I can imagine a lux condo in NYC going for a similar rate.
Sore, maybe. Poor? Nope!
$20K/mo? Someone needs to slap some sense into Doug.
That wouldn’t surprise me at all.
And it will last for all of eternity and it won’t be so enjoyable.
One of my Oregon Senators lives in New York. Kammy could govern Kali long-distance.
Didn’t she get a truly obscene book deal? Probably better ghost-writers in NY.
“$20,000-a-month”
No wonder she is still fleecing peps...
