Kamala Harris eyes post-loss life with potential second home in New York City

It’s not the White House. But… it’s a short walk to the Park?

Kamala Harris is eyeing post-loss life in New York, we hear.

Page Six spies say that Doug Emhoff toured a $20,000-a-month three-bedroom at the Park Loggia luxury condo building on the Upper West Side last week. (“The missus was missing,” said the source.)

We’re told he arrived at the Lincoln Center high-rise on Friday with a “convoy of SUVs and a phalanx of Secret Service.”

No word yet if the power pair plan to take the apartment.

Meanwhile, a source said, “Not from me, but I heard they were looking to be bicoastal.”

A third said that the soon-to-be-former VEEP and Second Gentleman intend for Los Angeles to continue to be their base when they leave Number One Observatory Circle this week, but conceded that Emhoff has indeed been casting his eye over some homes in the Big Apple on the couple’s behalf.

"Power pair"?? That's adorable! No one has squandered "power" more than those two!

New York sounds like an excellent idea, Kamala. Definitely look into it! Don’t forget Doug. Go East and leave us Californians alone! Being Governor is overrated anyway. People blame you for the slightest things..Ask your old friend Gavin Newsom.

Mind-boggling. Guess that congestion tax won’t be noticed.

There are rents like that in Hong Kong, but it is a nice place to live.

Kamala Harris should be more concerned with her post-life home.

One word: Chappaqua.

Chappaqua to New York City limits. 59 min (37.5 mi) via Saw Mill River Pkwy S and NY-9A S

Discouraging words: “New York already has one queen. Me.”

"I heard they were looking to be bicoastal.”

Well, I definitely get "bicoastal" vibes from the soon-to-be former Second Gentleman. (One of the great things about the Trump victory is that we avoid having to use the ridiculous title, "First Gentleman." "Second Gentleman" is bad enough.)

Kamala: I was set to accept being Senator or Governor of California but I heard an oldies station playing “Theme From New York, New York” and I thought “I can make it there and then anywhere.”

The common people of America are calling out for me, yearning for me. Comeback time.

Good point. At least mass transit will be safe for other people with her agents protecting her.

If she really hits the booze from depression after her election bringdown it might be like the sad story of best selling writer Julia Cameron in her memoir Floor Sample.

Living alone after her divorce from director Martin Scorsese and thus the end of her life of being with well dressed partygoers and famous celebrities, she went into alcoholism, picking up liquor at nearby stores and finally ordering bottles to be delivered day after day to her home. She said a young man delivering them “I think felt sorry for me” and was sympathetic and friendly as he quickly noticed her address was a frequent one on his delivery list. He didn’t judge her and this made her feel better. As he smiled and said goodbye each time he was her only human contact for the day.
Sad story.
