I guess if millions of American voters can put a man famous for bragging about sexual assault back into the White House, it’s too much to expect his Cabinet appointments to be held to a higher standard.
It seems like an eternity, but it was only seven years ago that the MeToo movement exploded. Supercharged by revelations about Harvey Weinstein’s one-man reign of sexual terror, the moment seemed to signal a permanent change in the way society treats men who harass and assault their colleagues and subordinates.
So many “important” men were pushed from their lofty perches that it would take this entire column to name them all. The sheer number of men on the left and right who considered it their birthright to demean and assault women still shocks the conscience. It seemed that we’d come to a consensus as a society that men who cross boundaries of decency should pay a hefty price, even losing jobs, no matter their political affiliations.
Why is it, then, that credibly accused sex offenders or harassers are being considered for some of the most important jobs in the country, if not the world?
It’s bad enough that men such as Elon Musk, Matt Gaetz, Pete Hegseth and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are believed by so many people to be unqualified for the jobs President-elect Donald Trump wants them to do. Worse yet, they have all been accused of sexual misconduct.
Gaetz, who withdrew his name from consideration as attorney general under pressure last week, has been investigated by the Department of Justice and the House Ethics Committee for alleged criminal behavior that includes sex trafficking involving underage girls. He denies any wrongdoing and has not been charged with a crime, although his buddy Joel Greenberg...

In March 2020, during that year’s election campaign for President of the United States, Tara Reade alleged that Democratic nominee Joe Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993 in a Capitol Hill office building when she was a staff assistant in his office.
Guess they forgot about that.

Did Ole Knuckle Deep Celtic Joe get charged? Guess what, neither did Pete. What else they got? They want a date?
Glad that Robin is still butt hurt about the election results. May she and her ideological ilk continue to walk funny for at least the next 4 years - because the people have spoken!
Oh, and just for the record, and just for her information (and that of anyone who didn’t actually watch the entire video in the question), Trump did NOT brag about sexually abusing anyone. What he did was to mention that women are so attracted to rich and famous people, that they allow those rich and famous people to grab them between the legs. I would be the first one to say that this is not the most appropriate type of discussion that one could have, but it was a private conversation between two adults, and the recipient of Trump’s remarks did not seem to object. Also, if what Trump said is factually true, it doesn’t say much for the morals of those women who allow the grabbing in question without a genuine objection.
Well at least none of them showered with their teen aged daughter. Anyone knock up the nanny? Smack a girlfriend so hard she spun around because she smiled at the valet. Guess nobody at the times ever heard of Tara Reade.
The article either igonores or makes light of all Trump’s female nominees.
<< The San Francisco-based polling firm Change Research found that young American voters have a larger gender gap than any other generation. In 2023, the firm found that more than half of millennial and Gen Z women reported that they would consider it a red flag if their male partner listened to Rogan. Other red flags included a male partner saying there are only two genders or using the phrase “All lives matter.” >>
Chortle.
Better than looking like the Star Wars bar scene.
Still angry over the house dropped on your Sister?
The left is working the black slang “bro” into all of their digs now at anything that they can paint as male and portray it as negative, it is not a good sign as they adopt new language for political attacks and tie them to “toxic masculinity”, to “men”, to “maleness” in other words not for everyone, not merely whatever it is, but as something exclusive and for “them”, and for “those”.
She should make like Ellen Degenerate and move to London
if the LASlimes doesn’t like it, its gotta be pretty good for America!
