FINGER LICKIN' GOOD KFC launches ‘first ever’ chicken flavored lickable Christmas wrapping paper – but you’ll need to check the fine print

CALLING all KFC lovers - the fast food chain has some finger-lickin’ good news.

Luckily for all fast food fans, KFC’s new holiday product is sure to be hot on your lips - literally.

The fast food chain has just launched its ‘first ever’ Lickable Wrapping Paper - and it’s perfect for the gifting season.

So if you want wrapping paper with a twist this year, you've come to the right place.

And with the holiday season right around the corner, you’ll need to move quickly if you want to nab it - but you’ll have to check the fine print.

The limited-edition lickable paper reportedly tastes like KFC’s Original Recipe Chicken - but there’s a twist.

Alongside the original chicken taste this festive find has “a refreshing hit of cranberry sauce and an aromatic pinch of sage from the sage and onion stuffing patty," according to the product description.

Phoebe Syms, Brand Manager at KFC UK & Ireland, said: “Despite the festive battle of the birds, at KFC we believe in chicken.

“Introducing our first ever lickable wrapping paper … inspired by our epic limited-edition Stuffing Stacker Burger.”

However, fast food fans should be aware of the fine print, as KFC warned that the novelty wrapping paper is “not intended for human consumption.”

It turns out that the lickable areas of the paper have a protective cover that needs to be peeled off to access the tasty patch.

You’re also not advised to lick any patches without a protective cover.

As well as this, they also do not advise sharing the lickable areas.

The company noted that it “may require a few licks” to get the full flavor and stressed that all products used are food-safe and non-toxic.

Despite this, foodies should be aware that the wrapping paper is not vegan or vegetarian-friendly.

It’s also not suitable for children under the age of five.

The KFC paper was designed by an “emerging artist,” SOLDIER, and was inspired by the fan-favorite Stuffing Stacker Burger, available on KFC’s Christmas Menu in the UK.

The burger consists of two original recipe filets, sage and onion stuffing, lettuce, cheese and spicy cranberry sauce.

The Lickable Wrapping Paper was available in stores for free, though it appears supplies are selling out fast.

If that wasn't enough, there's also a KFC apron, a finger lickin' good mug, drumstick slippers, and a golden drumstick tree decoration.

The cat would sit in the box. The dog would eat the cat and the box.

And it’s actual chicken, not a concoction of lab created compounds or anything. So lick away!

Throughout the article, the company is called KFC and never Kentucky Fried Chicken. Fried chicken must now be racist, as are chicken and waffles, watermelons and milk—or maybe Kentucky is racist, because it’s a red state.

Kentucky Fried Chicken changed their name to KFC years ago. It’s been a while.

Here’s more about what happened. https://www.mashed.com/151782/the-real-reason-why-kfc-changed-their-name/

The last time I ate KFC knowingly, I had kids in HS requesting it. It was not like the Kentucky Fried Chicken of my childhood, which was authentically great.

Do you want to taste great real fried chicken that’s not greasy?! You gotta come to my little town. There’s a cafe here that makes FC as amazing as my Southern Mama did! When I don’t feel like cooking from scratch, we go get some “Aunt Bee’s” fried chicken to scratch the itch.

Note to self:
Instead of Mr. FF’s homemade pecan wood smoked smash burgers for dinner tomorrow night, go get some AB’s fried chicken from the Cafe! Hubby should have the weekend night off after a difficult week! We can have smash burgers on Sunday.
