The commercials were effective: The New York Times reported that Future Forward, a pro-Harris super PAC, found that one ad “shifted the race 2.7 percentage points in Mr. Trump’s favor after viewers watched it.” The Harris campaign mostly avoided the subject.

I don’t care what you call yourself. However, you are either XX or XY. You can be XY and call yourself a Shetland pony. I don’t care. Nor do I need to acknowledge this or go to jail because if that is the precedent, then not acknowledging that I am not a Shetland pony then that person should go to jail.
Pretty sure a sentence that contains the words “Democrats” and “honest” constitutes a contradiction in terms.
