His campaign also barraged swing-state voters and sports fans with ads reminding them that Kamala Harris had previously supported taxpayer-funded gender-reassignment surgery for prisoners. The commercials were effective: The New York Times reported that Future Forward, a pro-Harris super PAC, found that one ad “shifted the race 2.7 percentage points in Mr. Trump’s favor after viewers watched it.” The Harris campaign mostly avoided the subject.

The transgender issue is a proxy for the bigger issue of whether people can simply assert things and have them be true or whether there’s an objective reality that isn’t subject to human will. The postmodern left believes the former. In fact it’s so fundamental for them that their worldview collapses if it isn’t true.
That’s why you can’t have an honest conversation with them about transgenderism — because what you’re really discussing isn’t transgenderism but the deeper metaphysics of their political faith, which for them is non-negotiable.

No, most Americans do not agree that there are "transgender people." These are not transgenders but transvestites and should be treated as such.
What’s to talk about? We’ve given them all the room in the world to be as weird as they want. We’ve tolerated a lot of their queer nonsense. We just are NOT going to allow them to force us to participate in normalizing their weirdness, and they better keep it the hell away from our kids.
