Kamala Harris is going to be the next president of the United States.
On January 20, 2025, she will become America’s first woman president, America’s first woman of color to be commander-in-chief and America’s first person of Asian heritage to become the country’s chief executive.
Born in late 1964, she will bring the perspective of a new generation to the presidency. Whereas Joe Biden brought the experiences of growing up middle class in the industrial heartland of America, Harris will bring the views of someone who grew up, lived, and worked in the Bay Area of California as it was transformed by Silicon Valley and the onset of the digital era.

Colorado has Democrats only leading by two points in early voting which by the Pew model is Trump +6.
All the polls (old and new) show Harris leading by double digits.
That is a twenty point difference—crazy stuff.
Silver’s discussion of the weirdness that has Republicans voting early in Colorado could explain that.
He also said Republicans like to vote early in California.
While the raw numbers in CA show a million vote Democratic lead that is based on mail in voting which is about a million vote shortfall to where Harris should be.
Maryland (and also my home state of CT + neighboring RI) has the opposite issue—a +20 or higher Democratic blowout based on early voting.

The Daily Beast is garbage, and Rothkopf is reliably awful, but it’s not hard to read between the lines here. He’s supremely confident that the fix is in, and that the steal is going to work, again.
Just like it did in 2020 and in the midterms.
It’s going on in plain sight right now in all 7 swing states, with the only question being how brazen they have to be with the shenanigans. The enemy’s script is written, the only question is whether the people will accept the end of the Republic quietly.
Kamala is always talking about “moving us forward” but it’s just a really empty platitude. She hasn’t been asked by the media what exactly does she mean? Moving forward to what and from where? Moving forward from the mess you’ve made out of everything to an even bigger crisis? When you consider how terrible the leadership has been nobody should want her to move us forward to anything. They should want her to go away and leave us the F’ alone!
It really irks me that she’s not made to define it.
The ONLY way Harris “wins : is through massive civil war causing fraud, period. She needs a huge turnout from her base, and it is not there. Simple numbers.
People have been murdered for pocket change.

Only if they cheat, and the LORD allows it. As a fellow FReeper commented the other day, if Trump loses, it means America is under judgement; if he wins, we’ve been given a reprieve. The good news for believers, imho, if he loses, it means “our redemption draweth nigh” even more so. Good for us, not good for the unredeemed. Lots of Latinos here who agree with Trump, especially those with good jobs in the oil patch. Unfortunately for all of us, the left-wing radical progressives in ABQ and Santa Fe that control all of state government are doing there best to shut down oil and gas drilling and production. Trump highlighted that saying 40% of state government funding comes from fossil fuel production and if Harris wins it will turn NM into rubble. A major reason he made the visit is to elect a conservative representative for Congress (see my post here).
Trump winning a majority in NM and the Pub senate candidate winning are both longshots.

Her first public speeches were suffused with a new energy and vision that was desperately needed in American politics, and her choice of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate was inspired. A flawless convention culminated in a superb speech by her, and she sliced, diced, and julienned Trump like a Veg-O-matic at their debate.

If Harris does become the first woman President, she will also be the last, since the country will not survive her Presidency.
We have seen the administrative state under Biden do whatever the hell they want. It is not that simple. Keeping the House and hopefully upping the margin a little bit would at least be a stop gap on really bad new legislation.
